DISTURBING: Human Smuggling Footage on Southern Border Appears to Show Sedated Children

Footage obtained by a citizen journalist documenting human smuggling on the Texas-Mexico border appears to reveal children who have been sedated, raising concerning new questions about the activities of criminal organizations and human traffickers known to operate in the region.
Anthony Aguero, a south Texas journalist who runs Border Network News, released footage in which he encounters a group of illegal migrants who are traveling with minors. The children are highly unresponsive- not reacting to flashlights shined into their face, and seemingly oblivious to their surroundings.
The adult supposedly supervising the children claims his wife abandoned him and his two children, leaving him with the kids. Human traffickers regularly bring children they’re not related to to the United States, seeking a backdoor means to legal residency in the country through the use of the minors.
A woman accompanying Aguero first raises questions about the minors, describing the children- supposedly three and four years old- as incapacitated by means other than that of a “natural sleep.”
Aguero has regularly filmed illegal alien groups who cross the border and turn themselves in to Border Patrol in the area of El Paso, although it’s not clear where exactly the migrant group with seemingly sedated children was caught. Aguero’s work can be found at Border Network News.
Human and drug smuggling has exploded on the southern border throughout the duration of Joe Biden’s presidency, with generous amnesty programs and neutralized law enforcement serving as a de facto invitation for millions of illegal immigrants and criminals to make the dangerous journey to the United States. The federal courts recently ruled to compel President Biden to reinstate President Donald Trump’s game-changing ‘Remain in Mexico’ border policy, which successfully deterred illegal immigration through making asylum applicants apply in Mexico.
