DOJ Puts Republican Lawmakers “On Notice” For Protection of Kids from Puberty Blockers, Trans Surgeries

The Department of Justice has put Republican lawmakers “on notice” for their protection of children from puberty blockers and transgender surgeries.
In a letter to the House and Senate judiciary committees, Attorney General Jeff Sessions stated that the DOJ will take “legal action” against any state or locality that tries to block medical treatments for transgender children.
The trans community sees this as “major victory”, even though most Americans view it as another out-of-touch political overstep from the ruling regime.
According to White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on Thursday, the Biden administration is “encouraged” by the DOJ’s letter.
Psaki’s comments also referenced the Alabama Legislature passing a bill that would ban doctors from mutilating children or putting them on puberty blockers if they “identify” as the opposite sex.
Notably, the Alabama Senate passed a parental rights bill that eliminates teachers’ “instruction” on sexuality and gender identity between kindergarten and fifth grade. Requiring parental consent for any sex education instruction in grades six through 12.
Psaki had this to say about the Alabama news: “Alabama’s lawmakers and other legislators who are contemplating these … discriminatory bills have been put on notice by the Department of Justice and the Department of Health and Human Services that laws and policies preventing care that health care professionals recommend for transgender minors may violate the Constitution and federal law.”

This rhetoric from the White House and DOJ is likely to fall on deaf ears among the conservative lawmakers in Alabama and other states considering similar bills.
These lawmakers have long accused the Biden administration of waging a “war on women and children” by allowing transgender minors to undergo puberty blockers and transition-related surgeries.
Even though the indoctrination of children in public schools paired with the higher-than-ever pressures to transition is becoming a losing issue for democrat and moderate votes for the upcoming midterms.
It remains to be seen if this “on notice” attitude by the DOJ will have any effect on the state-level bills being considered across the country.
But one thing is certain, the Biden administration is ramping up its efforts to force Americans to accept their transgender ideology.
And they are using our children as their guinea pigs.
The press secretary also threatened, “President Biden has committed in both words and actions to fight for all Americans and will not hesitate to hold these states accountable.”
Republican lawmakers across the country are fighting back against this dangerous agenda and are introducing bills to protect children from these irreversible procedures.
These bills would do things like outlaw puberty blockers and transition-related surgeries for minors, and require parental consent for these procedures.
The DOJ’s letter is a clear sign that they are not going to back down on this issue. And Republican lawmakers need to be ready to fight for the protection of our children.
From a GOP standpoint, these are all great steps in the right direction, but we need to do more to protect our children from these dangerous and life-altering procedures.
