Donald Trump Accuses the Biden Regime of Bringing the World Close to WWIII
Former President Donald Trump believes that President Joe Biden has brought the world on the verge of World War III.
“Joe Biden has brought us to the brink of World War Three. We’re at the brink of World War Three, just in case anybody doesn’t know it,” Trump declared at a rally in South Carolina on January 28, 2023. As Russian state media outlet TASS noted, this rally was aired by Newsmax TV and was one of Trump’s first rallies after he announced his decision to run in the 2024 presidential election. “As President I will bring back peace through strength, peace through strength, what had never happened,” he proclaimed.
Trump firmly believes that the Russo-Ukrainian conflict would not have taken place under his watch. He added that “even now” he would have been able to hammer out a “peace deal.”
“I would have a peace deal negotiated within 24 hours,” Trump argued. However, he added that “to protect Americans from the threat of hypersonic missiles and nuclear weapons I will build state-of-the-art next-generation missile defense shields.”
Trump is correct about the Biden regime’s culpability in fomenting the Russo-Ukrainian conflict. Its fanatic pro-Atlanticist foreign policy pushed Russia over the edge by making the decision to invade Ukraine. The Biden regime had no interest in stopping NATO expansion and putting military assets closer to Russia. Under Trump there was a far more realist approach to foreign policy being pursued which at least maintained geopolitical stability. Ideally, the US would go in a more non-interventionist direction where it promotes peace and prosperity in the Western Hemisphere — its traditional sphere of influence — and start focusing more on border security.
