Donald Trump Wins North Carolina

President Donald Trump has won the state of North Carolina, according to a Decision Desk HQ projection Tuesday afternoon.

North Carolina was one of the states to count mail-in and early votes before in-person Election Day votes. This is why Biden sustained a lead while the New York Times gave Trump over a 90 percent chance of winning.

Later on Election Night Trump took the lead and was not expected to give it up. It looked as if he would be projected to win North Carolina that night, but the state announced amidst a close vote and election chaos elsewhere that it’d take them several days to finish counting.

This is admittedly somewhat anticlimactic news, but perhaps it’ll furnish some positive energy and momentum within the Trump campaign as they fight suspicious election results in other states.
