Embattled Rep. Matt Gaetz Stands Up to ‘False Charges’ of Sexual Impropriety, Vows to ‘Fight Like Hell’ Against Smear Campaign

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) is refusing to back down against what he calls “false charges” from a federal “swamp” that wants to destroy his political career.
Gaetz addressed allegations that he was involved in illicit sex with a 17-year-old girl in an op/ed published by the Washington Examiner on Monday.
“I want to be clear about something as we process the leaks and lies from the past week. To this point, there are exactly zero credible (or even non-credible) accusers willing to come forward by name and state on the public record that I behaved improperly toward them, in the manner by which Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo has ten accusers,” he wrote.
Although Gaetz claimed he is “not a monk” and has certainly engaged in sexual relations with able-bodied adult women, he maintains that every encounter has been consensual and never with a minor.
“My personal life is and always has been conducted on my own time and my own dime. Consensual adult relationships are not illegal. Although I’m sure some partisan crooks in Merrick Garland’s Justice Department want to pervert the truth and the law to go after me, I will not be intimidated or extorted. The battle for America’s future demands gladiators, and I am going to keep getting back up and fighting, every single day,” he wrote.
“The Biden Justice Department would rather investigate me for adult, consensual sex than Hunter Biden for his shady business dealings, than others for illegal leaks, or a former Justice Department official for the evident extortion of a congressman. Go figure,” Gaetz added.
Big League Politics reported about the Gaetz scandal last week in which the Florida lawmaker alleged he was the victim of a $25 million extortion plot from rogue deep state elements:
“Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) addressed allegations on Wednesday that he sexually assaulted a 17-year-old girl and paid for her travel.
Gaetz said that he is the victim of an extortion plot and rogue deep state forces are plotting to destroy his political career and get him out of the picture as a champion of the America First cause.
“Over the past several weeks my family and I have been victims of an organized criminal extortion involving a former DOJ official seeking $25 million while threatening to smear my name. We have been cooperating with federal authorities in this matter and my father has even been wearing a wire at the FBI’s direction to catch these criminals,” he wrote on social media about the allegations.
The planted leak to the FBI tonight was intended to thwart that investigation. No part of the allegations against me are true, and the people pushing these lies are targets of the ongoing extortion investigation. I demand the DOJ immediately release the tapes, made at their direction, which implicate their former colleague in crimes against me based on false allegations,” Gaetz added.
The fake news media is having a field day with the allegations as they hope to damage the populist MAGA uprising within the Republican Party. Gaetz has not been charged with any crime at the moment.”
Gaetz is undeterred amidst the public campaign to destroy his career by the Democrat Party, the deep state, and their media partners.
