Adams Wants EVERY U.S. City To Take ‘Portion’ Of Migrants To Ease Big Apple ‘Burden,’ Blasts Republicans While Adopting Same Busing Strategy
New York City Democratic Mayor Eric Adams wants the federal government to disperse migrants across America.
Adams, who has been calling foul against Texas Governor Greg Abbott for busing migrants to the Big Apple – a so-called “sanctuary city,” sees the influx as a Republican problem rather than a failed Southern Border issue.
But instead of calling out do-nothing-President Joe Biden, Adams is instead adopting the same strategy he has routinely ridiculed Abbott for. Claiming that the migrant influx should be a shared dilemma; not “ a burden on one city.”
All of this at the expense of taxpayers, of course.
“We have 108,000 cities, villages, towns,” Adams said during an appearance on CBS on Sunday.
“If everyone takes a small portion of that,” he explained, “and if it’s coordinated at the border, to ensure that those who are coming here to this country in a lawful manner is actually moved throughout the entire country, it is not a burden on one city.”

Adams even blasted Republicans during his Sunday appearance, saying the party “for far too many years have failed to deal with real immigration reform.”
According to The Daily Wire, Adams – as part of his “decompression strategy” – has been busing migrants from New York City to surrounding counties in recent weeks to alleviate the severity of the issue.
Rockland and Orange counties have sued to stop the move.
Ed Day, Rockland County Executive, said: “This is a home rule state and New York City does not have the authority over this County or Town to volunteer us for placement, especially when we are telling them we do not have the infrastructure to help.”
Over the past few months, Adams has “reopened many of the city’s closed hotels and turned them into migrant shelters to deal with an influx of asylum seekers.”
With the crisis only expected to worsen after the end of Title 42, Adams is clearly scrambling to point fingers and soften the blow to his failing city.
