ESPN Host Says Americans Cannot Complain about Chinese Human Rights Violations Because of Voter ID Laws

ESPN host J.A. Adande recently stated that he believes Americans have no room to criticize Chinese communist despotism because of voter ID laws that are being enacted across the country.

Adande made the extremely low IQ take while appearing on the Friday edition of ESPN’s Around the Horn sports commentary show.

“I think it’s standard in sports right now- you have to have a cognitive dissonance. You need to compartmentalize,” Adande said. “We’ve never had a more enjoyable NFL Playoffs in this country and we’ve never had more people watching the playoffs, and yet it goes on amid the ongoing allegations against Dan Snyder, owner of the Washington Football Team, and, you know, the continuous concussion concerns, and now the concerns about diversity in the allegations and questions about competitive integrity even, all of that, and yet we’re still enjoying the games.”

“And who are we to criticize China’s human rights records when we have ongoing attacks by the agents of the state against unarmed citizens and we’ve got assaults on the voting rights of our people of color in various states in this country. So sports – I think it is possible and it’s necessary more than ever to just shut everything out if you are to enjoy the actual games themselves,” he added.

Big League Politics has reported on ESPN not knowing how to turn back after losing money due to their embrace of woke politics:

The iconic sports network ESPN finds itself in a serious bind. After embracing woke identity politics while Obama was President and doubling down with constant ‘Orange Man Bad’ coverage after Trump replaced him, the network is attempting to put the genie back in the bottle and ignore politics altogether.

The only problem is their analysts, many of whom are social justice warriors who have been immersed in the fake news ecosystem for their entire careers, are not going along with the program despite the fact that it is what their fans want…

ESPN President Jimmy Pitaro is trying to undo the damage that was done largely before he came into power 17 months ago, but is running into roadblocks.

“I’ve had this discussion internally with hundreds of our employees that sports is about uniting and ESPN needs to unite people around sports,” Pitaro said to the Washington Post. “That’s our role, or one of our roles.”

“We have to understand we’re here to serve sports fans,” Pitaro added. “All sports fans.”

ESPN host Dan Le Betard, who wrote for the Miami Herald from 1990-2016, is openly defying the orders from his boss as he feels that the sports network should be a vehicle for his leftist political beliefs…

Pitaro was put in charge after a turbulent 2017 that saw previous president John Skinner resign after an alleged case of extortion, and the network become a political football for the White House after former host Jemele Hill called Trump a white supremacist on her Twitter account…

By adopting a leftist political slant to their sports reporting, ESPN has created a monster, and that monster may lay waste to the sports empire regardless of Pitaro’s best intentions.

ESPN has made their bed, and this institution is losing market share to upstart competitors like Outkick and Barstool that refuse to kowtow to social justice insanity.
