Europe Saw Illegal Immigration Surge by 64% in 2022

Frontex, the European Union’s border agency, recently reported that about 330,000 illegal border-crossings into the EU took place in 2022, the highest figure since the migration crisis of 2016. Thomas Brooke of Remix News noted that this illegal alien influx represented an increase of 64% from 2022.
Brooke highlighted how the “Western Balkan migratory route, which sees migrants travel through Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia to reach the European Union’s external border at Hungary” surpassed the Central Mediterranean route as the principal pathway that illegal aliens used to penetrate the EU. Over 145,000 illegal aliens were found using the route 2022, a notable increase of 136% over 2021.
The bulk of migrants using this route in 2022 were mostly coming from Afghanistan, Syria, Turkey, and Tunisia.
In a similar vein, a total of 102,529 migrants were detected attempting to breach the EU border in the Central Mediterranean region to reach Italy, which represented a 51% increase from 2021. Migrants from Bangladesh, Egypt, Syria, and Tunisia, were most commonly reported to be traversing through this route.
In third place came the Eastern Mediterranean route, where illegal aliens traveled via Turkey into Greece. Nearly 43,000, mostly Afghans, Congolese, Nigerians, and Syrians, took this route in 2022, which marked an increase of 108% from 2021. More than 80% of illegal aliens penetrating the EU were adult men.
“Women accounted for fewer than one in ten of the detections, while the share of reported minors fell slightly to around 9 percent of all detections,” Frontex stated in a press release published on January 13, 2022.
The EU border agency emphasized that numbers it compiled were based on preliminary figures. It conceded that “the final figures may be higher due to delayed reporting.”
Undeniably, Europe is facing a similar civilizational crisis to the one that the US is currently putting up with. Mass migration is one of the holy sacraments of the managerial state that dominates the Collective West. The only way to stop this civilization-destroying process is for nationalist political forces to rise up and take back control of their respective borders.
Failure to contain mass migration will result in the tragic disappearance of these once great civilizations.
