Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has made numerous efforts to ban forced inoculation for the Covid-19 virus, many of which have been successful. In spite of this, the state of Florida does continue to harbor actors who continue to go against such efforts.

In an exclusive leak given to Big League Politics by a current nursing student who chose to remain anonymous for fear of blowback, we were able to confirm that students who attend Florida’s Keiser University and practice at the Cleveland Clinic are being forced to take Covid-19 inoculations. What’s more, Florida’s Cleveland Clinic, which hosts various medical students, has explicitly stated that they refuse to grant any type of exemption – including ones for religious and even medical reasons.

The anonymous friend of BLP explained that equivalent mandates for nursing students are also being practiced at other campuses of Keiser University and various other schools, including local community colleges such as Indian River Community College.

Documents shared to BLP by the anonymous student confirmed this forced Covid-19 inoculation policy, with Cleaveland Clinic emphatically stating that “there are no exceptions to this requirement.”

Keiser University plans to throw students out of the program should they not comply with the forced shots by January 4th.

I understand Cleveland Clinic Florida requires all Program Participants (i.e. Student, Instructor) be fully
vaccinated for the COVID-19 virus. The vaccination is at the expense of the Program Participant or that of their School.

Cleveland Clinic Florida requires all currently enrolled Program Participants or those scheduled for rotations to begin December 2021 or January 2022 to have received the COVID-19 vaccination on or before January 4, 2022. If receiving a two-dose vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna), then the first dose must be received by Dec. 6, 2021, and the second dose by Jan. 4, 2022. If receiving the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine it needs to be completed by Dec. 6, 2021.

All Program Participants applying for future clinical rotations MUST be fully vaccinated for the COVID-19 virus at the time they submit their application and must include this completed COVID-19 Vaccination Attestation during their application/on-boarding process.

There are no exceptions to this requirement.

Cleaveland Clinic’s “COVID-19 VACCINATION ATTESTATION” form.

“I feel many college and university students have been forgotten,” the anonymous nursing student exclusively told BLP.

Interestingly, the program appears to offer more leeway in regards to granting religious and medical exemptions to nursing students who prefer to not take the annual flu shot. The aftermentioned packet states that those students can still participate, but will be excluded for a large portion of the program.

We recognize some Program Participants may have religious or medical conflicts with getting vaccinated. In those cases, the academic institution must make arrangements with Cleveland Clinic Martin Health to accommodate these participants outside the flu season, between April 1st and October 31st

Another recent update provided to BLP by the student explained that Cleaveland Clinic has apparently claimed to have dropped the mandate, but Keiser University has continued the policy in spite of this. The school reportedly still uses the same Cleaveland Clinic form when referencing their policy.

The anonymous student who shared the exclusive documents with BLP told us that they had attempted to share the story with numerous media outlets, only to be brushed off. They also indicated repeated attempts to get in contact with Governor Ron Desantis and a local congressman through various mediums, all to no avail.

“I have tried DeSantis and Brian Mast and no one has responded or acknowledged this situation.  I know other nursing students have brought it up to them as well.”
