EXCLUSIVE: Young Republican Leader Rick Loughery is Tied to Third-World Thug Regime Banned from U.S. and U.K.

Embattled Young Republican National Federation (YRNF) chairman Rick Loughery has been on the take for years from corrupt world leaders as he uses his position with the Young Republicans to enrich himself and his inner circle.

Loughery volunteered himself to be used as a propaganda pawn by the disgraced former Albanian President Sali Berisha, an infamous figure in his native country who has become a worldwide disgrace. Loughery appeared before the Albanians remotely from a New Jersey conference center in 2021 where he parroted regime propaganda to promote his own personal profile.

Berisha has been castigated by the U.S. Department of State for being “involved in corrupt acts, such as misappropriation of public funds and interfering with public processes, including using his power for his own benefit and to enrich his political allies.”

Furthermore, the State Department noted that Berisha “is willing to protect himself, his family members, and his political allies at the expense of independent investigations, anticorruption efforts, and accountability measures.”

Berisha was given a public designation and banned from the U.S. for his misdeeds as Albanian President. The United Kingdom recently followed suit.

“This week, we took disruptive action against several Albanian individuals with well publicized and documented ties to criminality and corruption. This is the first wave of a set of actions intended to encourage accountability and end impunity. The UK has a range of tools available to disrupt individuals with ties to criminality and corruption, including immigration and economic disruption. The details of these actions may not always be public,” the UK prime minister’s special envoy to the Western Balkans Stuart Peach said in a statement about Berisha’s banning.

Big League Politics has reported extensively on Loughery’s pay-to-play dark money exploits as YRNF chairman in recent weeks:

Young Republicans National Federation (YRNF) chairman Rick Loughery founded a dark money 501c4 organization that is aggressively usurping the legitimate functions of the YRNF without approval from its membership.

Loughery with help from the YRNF general counsel, Ross Wolfe, founded YRs Run, a nonprofit organization based out of Pennsylvania, in order to exert authority over the Young Republicans without having to follow the YRNF’s bylaws or reporting requirements.
