Expert: Nord Stream Attacks are the Product of Anglo-Saxon Geopolitical Trickery

Valdir Bezerra, an expert at GEBRICS research group at Brazil’s University of Sao Paulo, believes that the Nord Stream pipeline attacks had all the markings of a terrorist act. In fact, he went as far as to liken it to the British geopolitical machinations of yore in an interview with Russian state media outlet TASS

“The explosion should be analyzed in accordance with one of the most important tenets of 20th century geopolitics, which was first formulated by British scholar Halford Mackinder. More than a century ago, he advised the British government to block by any and all means the formation of an alliance between Germany and Russia, since the latter would facilitate the dominance of the Eurasian landmass, as a land-based continental power, over the sea power of Great Britain. The United States then inherited this fundamental foreign policy goal of the British government,” the expert stated.

The US Deep State began to view the growing energy ties between Germany and Russia in the 2000s, the “high point of which was the construction of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 pipelines,” Bezerra highlighted.

“Therefore, the terrorist demolition of this gas pipeline with the backing of the US government is a desperate move, targeted precisely at breaking the link between Russia and Germany once and for all, in accordance with the centuries-old commandment of British geopolitics. The fact that the Germans had virtually nothing to say concerning the event speaks volumes about the level of their dependence on the United States,” he added.

At the end of the day, the US is the larger geopolitical successor to the UK as far as its divide and rule strategy goes. It’s all designed to create perpetual instability abroad, which is a boon for the defense industry and the international relations non-profit complex. As for Middle America, this interventionist foreign policy does nothing to benefit them. If anything, Middle Americans become sacrificial lambs for this kind of foreign policy.

For the sake of maintaining international stability, the interventionist crowd in DC must be completely thrown out of power. It’s non-negotiable at this point.
