Is Nicole Malliotakis anti-gun?
YouTuber Joey Salads is running a bold America First campaign in New York’s 11th Congressional District to try to unseat Max Rose.
But first he must go through the Republican primaries where he will be pitted against establishment Republican Nicole Malliotakis.
Apart from being a vocal Never Trumper before Trump got elected, Malliotakis is no friend of gun rights. On January 16, 2013, New York became the first U.S. state to pass comprehensive gun control legislation after the Sandy Hook mass shooting.
By passing the Secure Ammunition and Firearms Enforcement (SAFE) Act, New York enacted universal background checks for all firearms purchases, broadened the definition of assault weapons, established a state database for handguns, and prohibited the sale or purchase of magazines capable of holding more than seven rounds of ammunition.
And guess who voted for it?
She even defended her vote after being questioned by reporters in the wake of the Las Vegas mass shooting in 2017.
The failed New York city mayoral candidate is now trying to position herself as pro-Trump despite her Never Trump and an anti-gun track record. Her opportunism is clear and New York’s 11th deserves better.
For those reasons, Saladino is the still best option for America First supporters in the 11th district.
