Facebook Executive Sheryl Sandberg To Podesta: I Want Hillary to Win Badly

Facebook chief operating officer (COO) Sheryl Sandberg exchanged emails with Hillary Clinton campaign chief John Podesta in which she pledged her support for Clinton and arranged face time between Podesta and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.

Wikileaks has been re-promoting some of its leaked Podesta emails Tuesday amid news that Cambridge Analytica used Facebook data to help with its political targeting operations. Facebook collects and monetizes users’ data and also allowed the Barack Obama campaign to mine user data for political purposes.

An Obama 2012 campaign veteran confirms that Facebook allowed Obama to mine the data of users because “they were on our side.”

This revelation cements the fears of many conservatives who believe that Facebook — a so-far unshakable monopoly on content publishing — is in the process of purging conservative and liberty-minded viewpoints ahead of the 2020 election.
