Fairfax Attacks Accuser, Points To Fact That He’s Not Mentioned In Her Video Describing Incest Survival

Published

Embattled Virginia Democrat lieutenant governor Justin Fairfax is lashing out at his sexual assault accuser Vanessa Tyson, who says that Fairfax forced her to perform fellatio in a hotel room in Boston at the Democratic National Convention in 2004. Fairfax was working as John Edwards’ “body man” on the John Kerry campaign at the time. Fairfax has confirmed that he had an encounter with Tyson but claims that it was consensual. The Washington Post previously spiked the story.

Tyson released her statement through her attorneys — who also represented Christine Blasey Ford — on Wednesday.

Fairfax insists that because Tyson did not mention his alleged assault of her in a 2007 video clip in which she described surviving incest, then somehow her story has “inconsistencies.” Fairfax reportedly said “Fuck that bitch,” with regard to Tyson, according to multiple sources in contact with NBC News.
