Fake “Pro-Liberty” Political Operative Outs Himself as Fan of Rabid Neocon Nikki Haley

After the snoozefest of a Republican Party debate on November 8, 2023, every political insider and their dog had something to say about the third presidential debate.

The prevailing wisdom that came out of the debate was that former South Carolina Governor and United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley came out as one the victors of the debate.

Brendan Steinhauser, a self described “pro-liberty” Republican strategist, was of the view that Haley won the third presidential debate.

According to a report by USA Today, Steinhauser said the following about Haley’s performance at the GOP debate:

“Even if GOP voters don’t agree with her on every issue, they see her as strong, confident and substantive. She helped her candidacy tonight with her performance.”

For those with short-term memory, Steinhauser played an instrumental role in electing neoconservative darling Dan Crenshaw in 2018.  For her part, Haley is one of the most hawkish Republicans in the 2024 presidential election cycle. She is more than willing to use the US government to prosecute conflicts with the Eurasian axis of China, Iran, and Russia.

BLP previously reported on Haley’s scuffles with more restrained proponents of foreign policy realism such as Vivek Ramaswamy.

Any individual who supports the likes of Haley is simply not pro-liberty. After all, as the late Randolph Bourne eloquently stated, war is the health of the state.

Pro-liberty campaign operative Cliff Maloney chimed in on Steinhauser’s comments. On November 12, 2023, Maloney posted the following on X:

Despicable. And this guy is supposed to represent “liberty” Is this statement a clerical error

@bstein80? The liberty movement was completely duped by you.

The case of Steinhauser is all too predictable. For too long, many individuals working in the Republican Party have gotten away with claiming they’re pro-liberty, when their behavior indicates otherwise. It’s part of the vicious cycle of the political establishment assimilating so-called “anti-establishment” figures who later become the next generation’s political establishment.

This demonstrates the necessity of always looking at a person’s track record — be it voting patterns or who they associate with. At the end of the day, actions speak louder than words.

Once Republican voters grasp this, they can then take back their party and move it in an America First direction.

For now, we can finally say that Steinhauser has been completely exposed as a fraud.
