Fauci Obfuscates Responsibility For Actions, Instead Says ‘What About Jan 6th?’

Tony Fauci went on CBS’s face the nation for a friendly interview posted Sunday asking for his reaction to Republican senators such as Rand Paul and Ted Cruz calling for him to step down and be prosecuted for his repeated lies and potential crimes perpetuated throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. The disgraced director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases insisted that “the Rand Pauls and all that nonsense” were all “noise” and “theater,” saying that all he “want[s] to do is save people’s lives.”

“Senator Cruz told the attorney general you should be prosecuted,” the interviewer stated to Anthony Fauci before he implied that Cruz and others should face legal consequences for the January 6th riots, despite there being no evidence of wrongdoing by the aftermentioned senators whatsoever.

“Yeah,” laughed Anthony Fauci. “I have to laugh at that… I should be prosecuted? What happened to January 6th, Senator?”

The lady on the show from CBS then suggested that Fauci’s enemies were being dangerous by “playing politics with matters on life and death.”

“Exactly,” Fauci agreed. “To me, that’s unbelievably bad because all I want to do is save people’s lives.”

The infectious diseases “expert” then attacked those who have dared to criticize him, saying “anybody who is looking at this carefully realizes there is a distinct anti-science flavor to this.”

He noted that it’s easy for people to point out his flaws all they want, but said by doing so “they are really criticizing science because I represent science,” and that it is “dangerous.” According to Fauci, he himself is the representation of ‘science,’ and those speaking against him are inherently “damaging” the field.

Elites in the United States have continued to shift the goalposts since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic mission to lockdown for only ‘two weeks to slow spread,’ pushing fear over the newly discovered “Omicron” variant as of late. Many are using the new variant to continue virus-related hysteria, including New York Governor Kathy Hochul who used the crisis in order to expand her power through the declaration of a state emergency.

Fauci expressed concern for the new virus strain as well, saying “it almost invariably is ultimately going to go essentially all over.”
