FBI Director Christopher Wray Says Lab Leak Most Likely Caused Wuhan Virus Pandemic

During an interview with Fox News at the end of February, FBI Director Christopher Wray stated that a leak from a laboratory in Wuhan, China is the most likely cause of the Wuhan virus outbreak.

“The FBI has for quite some time now assessed that the origins of the pandemic are most likely a potential lab incident in Wuhan. Here you are talking about a potential leak from a Chinese government-controlled lab,” Wray stated.

“I will just make the observation that the Chinese government, it seems to me, has been doing its best to try to thwart and obfuscate the work here, the work that we’re doing, the work that our U.S. government and close foreign partners are doing. And that’s unfortunate for everybody,” he continued.

The Wall Street Journal reported that the US Department of Energy published a classified report on February 26 concluding that a pandemic broke out as a consequence of a leak from a laboratory in China. The Department of Energy also presides over biological laboratories.

It’s still anyone’s guess how the Wuhan virus originated. Nevertheless, the United States government’s response to the virus was horrific and resulted in one of the greatest consolidation of governmental and corporate power in recent memory. On top of that, legacy media outlets, big Tech platforms, and some activist governments did everything possible to clamp down on alternative explanations for how the pandemic broke out and any form of skepticism directed towards the biosecurity state’s measures used to halt the spread of the virus.

If the Wuhan virus has taught us anything, it’s that crisis remains the lifeblood of government growth.
