FBI Director Claims Dangerous Individuals Are Crossing The United States’ Southern Border

FBI Director Christopher Wray issued a dire warning at a recent hearing in front of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) dealing with a “wide array of very dangerous threats that emanate from” the Southwest border.
Wray’s remarks came around the time when a Hezbollah member was caught crossing that border in El Paso, Texas. The migrant invader in question is Basel Bassel Ebbadi, a 22-year-old man from Lebanon, and the incident was first revealed in story authored by Jennie Taer at the New York Post in a March 17 article entitled “Illegal migrant from Lebanon caught at border admitted he’s a Hezbollah terrorist hoping ‘to make a bomb’ — and was headed for NY”.
Ebbadi was apprehended by border officers on March 9 close to El Paso, and per Taer, he was initially transparent about his prospective terrorist plots in the nation: “While in custody, he was asked what he was doing in the US, to which he replied, ‘I’m going to try to make a bomb’, according to a Border Patrol document.”
However, he would subsequently change his story, informing ICE that he entered the country illegally due to how he was “trying to flee Lebanon and Hamas because he ‘didn’t want to kill people’ and said ‘once you’re in, you can never get out’”.
Such stories are commonplace in the open borders regime we live under. Moreover, with all the foreign policy conflicts the US is embroiled in, the US is asking for some form of blowback to occur within its borders.
Invade the world, invite the world is a nasty policy cocktail that should not be imbibed. The real remedy here is for the government to secure the border, stop importing hostile immigrants, and cease militarily intervening abroad.
