Federal Civil Lawsuits Are Filed Against Kyle Rittenhouse in Wisconsin

Two civil lawsuits were filed against Kyle Rittenhouse and other individuals towards the end of February. These lawsuits are concerned with Rittenhouse’s acts of self-defense directed against three assailants during the Kenosha riots.
Gaige Grosskruetz, one of the assailants that Rittenhouse wounded after he aimed a pistol at Rittenhouse. Dean Weingarten of AmmoLand News noted that Grosskreutz’s lawsuit was originally filed in 2020. An amendment to the lawsuit was filed on February 14, 2021, which added Rittenhouse’ name.
Attorneys representing the estate of Anthony Huber filed the other lawsuit. Huber attacked Rittenhouse with a skateboard after chasing Rittenhouse while he was on the ground. Rittenhouse shot Huber dead in self-defense. This lawsuit was originally filed on August 17, 2021.
Interestingly, Judge Lynn Adelman is presiding over both lawsuits.
Weingarten noted that “Judge Lynn Adelman is a well known Democrat.” Then-President Bill Clinton appointed Adelman as a federal judge in 1997.
Weingarten provided context to these lawsuits and what’s currently taking place against Rittenhouse:
The Grosskruetz case was filed over two years ago. In this situation, a case can be dismissed if the defendants are not served a summons within 90 days. After two years, Judge Adelman told the plaintiffs to serve Rittenhouse within 21 days, or he would dismiss the case against Rittenhouse. The plaintiffs failed to serve Rittenhouse. Then the plaintiffs filed for an extension, as well as an amended complaint, adding Rittenhouse’s name. It is unknown if Judge Adelman will grant the extension.
It’s anyone’s guess what will happen here. Gun Control Inc. is absolutely ruthless though. Even when a person is determined to be justified in using self-defense, these parasites will try to launch civil lawsuits against the likes of Rittenhouse with the aim of bankrupting them.
Republican states should take note of this incident and craft strong laws, if they don’t have them already, that prevent individuals who exercised legitimate acts of self-defense from being sued into oblivion. The Left is not playing games and we must be prepared to shore up all our defenses against their relentless attacks.
