FEDS: Investigation of Michael Cohen Has Nothing To Do With Trump

Published

Federal authorities say that the investigation of President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen is not even related to President Trump.

This latest development casts further doubt on the entire “Obamagate”-related investigations into Trump’s team, making it clear that these investigations are more about bullying Trump’s inner circle and not really about law and order.

Federal prosecutors admitted as much.

USA Today reports: “Federal prosecutors on Friday said President Trump’s personal attorney Michael Cohen is the target of a “months-long” criminal investigation that centers on Cohen’s own business dealings rather than his legal work on Trump’s behalf. The information gathered so far in the probe suggests “that the overwhelming majority of evidence” FBI agents seized from Cohen in a raid this week will not contain privileged attorney-client communications between Cohen and Trump but will relate to Cohen’s “personal business dealings and finances,” federal lawyers said in court documents.  The Friday afternoon filing came in response to Cohen’s emergency request to block the Justice Department from using materials the FBI seized earlier this week in an extraordinary raid of his offices, home and hotel room.”

Wow. Not even related to Trump. So when will this whole sordid Deep State affair finally end.

Cohen’s office was raided by the FBI, as Big League Politics reported:

On Monday, the FBI raided the office, and the hotel room of Trump’s longtime lawyer, Michael Cohen. The goal of the raid was to seize business records, emails, and documents related to payments to Stormy Daniels among a number of other topics.

In response, President Donald Trump called the raid “disgraceful” and stated that it was “an attack on our country in a true sense,” and “an attack on what we all stand for.”

While the raid was purported to be about Stormy Daniels, many are speculating that it is another attempt to Special Counsel Robert Mueller to go after Trump in lieu of having an real evidence of his collusion with Russia.

The cheap theatrical stunt of raiding Michael Cohen’s office is more proof that a year later Mueller has found zero evidence of Russia collusion and is now looking into Stormy Daniels. Next he’ll be looking into Gary Busey’s firing on the Apprentice.

In Trump’s statement, he blasted the “Witch Hunt” he’s been facing since he got elected, and how it is making facing the difficult challenged as President more challenging.

TRUST THE MAN: Here’s A Growing Map of Deep State Conspirators Who Have Been Fired

President Donald Trump continues to solidify the American people’s position in the federal government.

Former FBI director James Comey is reeling from the FBI’s release of information pertaining to his exit from the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The forms reveal a mad dash by the Department of Justice in the days after Comey’s spring 2017 firing to retrieve secret information from Comey’s office and to figure out the extent of what Comey was actually doing as FBI director.

Comey signed the Sensitive Compartmented Information Nondisclosure Agreement, which makes it all the more serious that Comey violated sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, and 13 by illegally handing over presidential briefing memorandums (page 5 and 6 of FBI release). Comey is not alone in his government unemployment.

An interactive mapping project has sprung up on mindmeister to track Deep State conspirator cells that have been fired in the age of President Donald Trump.
