FLASHBACK: Liz Cheney Gets Attacked by President Trump and Other Republicans Who are Tired of Her Swampy Ways

Many Americans tired of the government’s endless wars abroad rejoiced on October 7, 2020 when President Donald Trump announced that he would be withdrawing all troops for Christmas.

This was welcome news to America First patriots, but a total nightmare for neoconservatives who want to continue pursuing conflict abroad.

One person who wants to maintain this never-ending war status quo is Congresswoman Liz Cheney. She made an attempt back in July with other hawkish Democrats to block a withdrawal from Afghanistan.

This move angered Trump at the time. He expressed his displeasure on Twitter by stating that “Liz Cheney is simply upset as a result of I’ve been actively getting our nice and delightful Nation out of the ridiculous and dear Countless Wars. I’m additionally making our so-called allies pay tens of billions of {dollars} in delinquent army prices.”

Trump also retweeted Kentucky Senator Rand Paul and Florida congressman Matt Gaetz, who both don’t like Liz Cheney.

“I’m preventing for President @realDonaldTrump’s #AmericaFirst imaginative and prescient for the Republican social gathering,” Gaetz  tweeted.

Paul then blamed Cheney for making an attempt to roadblock the president’s efforts to withdraw from Afghanistan.

“We must always all be part of @realDonaldTrump in advocating to cease our limitless wars. Liz Cheney not solely needs to keep ceaselessly, she’s main the struggle to strive to cease him from leaving. Unacceptable,” Paul’s declared on Twitter.

Cheney co-sponsored an amendment to the protection spending invoice with Colorado congressman Jason Crow. This amendment blocks a potential withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan. These hawkish elected officials want to make sure that all terrorist threats in Afghanistan have been neutralized before withdrawing from the country.

Gaetz has been one of the loudest advocates of America First foreign policy positions since Trump was elected.

He has opposed hawkish behavior in places such as Iran and Venezuela and has served as a foil against the Neocon swamp that has still mired the GOP.

There comes a time when the interests of the American people take priority over the desires of defense contractors and foreign policy elites.

Let\s hope President Trump gets the memo and starts following through with his America First agenda.
