FLASHBACK: Mitch McConnell Blocked Election Security Bills in 2019 After Receiving Lobbying Cash From Dominion

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has stabbed President Donald Trump in the back, joining the farce that is “president-elect” Joe Biden, opting to cut deals with the reviled Democrat cheater instead of fighting against the vote steal.

Before the election theft became a reality, McConnell was instrumental in protecting Dominion Voting Systems from crucial reforms ironically pushed by Democrats that could have prevented calamity on election day.

Newsweek reported on how McConnell was papered over by Dominion lobbyists before killing substantial electoral reform bills in 2019.

“Clearly this request is not a serious effort to make a law. Clearly something so partisan that it only received one single solitary Republican vote in the House is not going to travel through the Senate by unanimous consent,” McConnell said on the Senate floor at the time when he killed the bill.

McConnell’s obstruction quashed new regulations that may have prevented Election Systems & Software and Dominion Voting Systems from perpetrating a nightmare on election day. These firms certainly got great return on their investment when they put lobbyist cash in McConnell’s coffers.

According to reporting from Sludge, Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck lobbyist David Cohen, who worked for Dominion in 2019, gave a $2,000 donation to McConnell at the time. Cohen’s associate, Brian Wild, also a Dominion lobbyist, gave McConnell a $1,000 donation as well.

For a mere $3,000, McConnell sold the nation down the river and paved the way for the most grotesque crime in U.S. history to occur.

Big League Politics reported on how McConnell bowed to Biden earlier this week, even as courageous Republicans continue to fight:

Rep. Mo Brooks (R-GA) is calling out Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and other top Republicans in the chamber for reportedly ducking “election fraud theft.”

… Brooks is referring to a Politico article detailing the immense cowardice that is going on among Senate Republicans who are too scared to tackle the vote steal in the legislature.

McConnell is reportedly telling GOP senators to acquiesce to the Democrats robbing the election, because it would ultimately result in a “terrible vote” in which Republicans would side with Democrats against President Trump’s push for electoral transparency and accountability. Senate Majority Whip John Thune (R-SD) and Sen. Roy Blunt (R-MO) reportedly joined McConnell in this betrayal.

According to RINO Sen. Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia, the Republican senators are all in agreement that Joe Biden is the president-elect and are offering zero push back to leadership’s capitulation strategy.

“There wasn’t any pushback to it,” she said. “There’s wasn’t anyone saying: oh wait a minute. That didn’t occur.”

Brooks reiterated his comments about the RINOs while speaking in a phone interview to reporters.

“I find it unfathomable that anyone would acquiesce to election theft and voter fraud because they lack the courage to take a difficult vote on the House or Senate floor,” Brooks said. “Last time I checked, that’s why we were elected to Congress.”

McConnell may be remembered as one of the worst turncoats during an age when the U.S. Republic was lost permanently.
