FOREIGN INTERFERENCE: German-Owned ‘Scientific American’ Magazine Endorses Joe Biden

The editors at Scientific American are endorsing former vice president Joe Biden for president this year, the first time the magazine has ever endorsed a presidential candidate in its 175 year history.
“The evidence and the science show that Donald Trump has badly damaged the U.S. and its people—because he rejects evidence and science,” they wrote.
“Although Trump and his allies have tried to create obstacles that prevent people from casting ballots safely in November, either by mail or in person, it is crucial that we surmount them and vote. It’s time to move Trump out and elect Biden, who has a record of following the data and being guided by science,” they added.
However, Scientific American is far from unbiased, as they have done the bidding of China in the past. As a matter of fact, its a German-owned magazine and does not represent the values of the U.S. whatsoever.
The magazine was bought by the Nature Publishing Group in 2009. The Nature Publishing Group is a subsidiary of the German Holtzbrinck Publishing Group. They own the Macmillan Group and are a major publisher throughout the West.
The globalist publishing organization also has a history of serving their Chinese masters. The nominally American side of the firm, Springer Nature, has kowtowed to China at every turn.
Springer Nature blocked access to its content with regards to Taiwan, Tibet and prominent Chinese political figures in 2017. They also reportedly declined to publish an article because the word “China” was not placed after “Taiwan” earlier this year.
Wu Jo-hsuan, a Taiwanese doctor, was told to add the word “China” after “Taiwan” in her scholarly paper on retinopathy or it would be rejected by the Eye and Vision journal. She was flabbergasted by the political censorship she faced.
After Springer Nature received flak for its decision, they tried to shift the blame. They claimed that Eye and Vision is published under a partnership with Wenzhou Medical University in China. They claim it was Wenzhou’s editorial guidelines that resulted in this censorship.
Wen Liu, who works as assistant research fellow with the Institute of Ethnology, Academia Sinica, explained how China is buying up academic journals to exert their control.
“China’s overseas acquisitions program targeting international academic journals, as well as its censorship of researchers’ institutional identities and the content of papers is a serious violation of the principle of academic freedom,” Liu said.

A report from the Daily Caller News Foundation describes a federal investigation revealing Chinese subversion within the U.S. that has resulted in thousands of moles within the government leaking sensitive information to the communist superpower.
This has come as result of China’s Thousand Talents Plan, a scheme designed to buy off foreign workers in their rival countries. Through this illicit program, they likely put thousands of U.S. federal workers on their payroll and received data about crucial programs.
Certain lawmakers in Washington D.C. are aware of the scheme, and ordered an investigation into the matter.
“China wins twice. First, the American taxpayer funds China’s research and development. Second, China uses that research to improve its economic and military status,” Sen. Rob Portman (R-OH) said.
Sen. Tom Carper (D-DE) said that “there are serious consequences that come from giving a foreign government so much control over the vital research we rely on to drive our country’s economic competitiveness and bolster our national defense.”
The Senate investigation has produced a report showing exactly how terrifyingly effective the Chinese plan has been. It indicated that there are 35,000 foreign researchers – including 10,000 Chinese – doing research at the National Labs on behalf of the Department of Energy (DOE).
During the investigation, the counterintelligence office found one individual who departed to China with 30,000 files after working as a postgraduate fellow with the DOE. The DOE is hardly the only federal bureaucracy that has been infiltrated by the dastardly Chinese.
National Institutes of Health (NIH) gave access to sensitive genomic data to companies intimately linked to the Chinese government. An investigation showed that the NIH showed no concern for “national security risks, such as weaponizing for biological warfare,” and they did not take into account “whether the [principal investigator] is in a foreign country that is on a United States Government watch list.” Their vetting only included “reviewing the first page of results from a Google search,” the report stated.
Perhaps a new special counsel investigation is needed to look into the foreign electoral interference from the dubiously named Scientific American.
