Former Fox Contributor Pamela Geller on Fox News Firing Jeanine Pirro: ‘See, I Told You So’

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The firing of Judge Jeanine Pirro is the latest in a long move towards a regimented pro-Islam narrative at Fox News Channel, according to an exclusive interview with well-known anti-Islam activist and former publisher of the New York Observer, Pamela Geller.

Geller was arguably the first victim of the new “dhimmitude” (a term in the Qur’an referring to non-Muslim, conquered cultures and their expected conduct under Islamic law) at Fox, so we reached out.

How does Geller feel about Judge Jeanine’s ordeal?

“The craven quislings at Fox, like the rest of the establishment right and the Republican Party establishment, have been moving left for some time, and continue to kowtow to leftist demands, no matter how ridiculous,” Geller said, in an email to Big League Politics.

“Whereas the left circles the wagons when one of their own is under fire (no matter how egregious the crime), the right assembles a circular firing squad and eats their own.” See, our latest on the disinformation circulating about Judge Roy Moore’s alleged guilt in the defamation of discredited sexual abuse accuser Leigh Corfman for a good example of the dynamic Geller describes here.

She continued:

This happened in my case: Fox no longer has me on after years of defamation and abuse from the left. Instead of defending me, Fox and other “conservatives” threw me under the bus in a vain attempt to court the left’s favor. And it isn’t just me, either: every effective counter jihad voice on the right has been abandoned and shunned by the right. Shame on Fox – the last thing American needs is another bloody leftwing news channel.

Judge Jeanine was dismissed from Fox News Channel after making an observation that many may feel is quite objective in its factural substance. “Think about it: Omar wears a hijab,” Pirro said during her opening monologue Saturday, Mar. 16. “Is her adherence to this Islamic doctrine indicative of her adherence to Sharia law, which in itself is antithetical to the United States Constitution?”

Fox News did not wait a day before condemning Pirro’s remarks. “We strongly condemn Jeanine Pirro’s comments about Rep. Ilhan Omar,” the network stated. “They do not reflect those of the network and we have addressed the matter with her directly.”

Criticism from within Fox News also came from a Muslim producer who works on Bret Baier’s “Special Report” program.

Leftist comedian and respected commentator Bill Maher would even agree with Pirro.
