Former “Hercules” TV Star Kevin Sorbo Calls for Less Money to be Sent to Ukraine

Months have passed since Russia launched its special military operation in Ukraine on February 24, 2022, and Russia is making steady gains in Eastern Ukraine. Despite this, the United States and its allies in NATO continue pouring money into Ukraine in an effort to weaken Russia.

Thus far, the billions of economic and military aid have amounted to very little as Russia continues chugging along and the Ukrainian state looks to be on the verge of collapse.

On August 19, 2022, the US government revealed a fresh $800 million military aid package that is expected to be sent to Ukraine, which consists of “arms, munitions, and equipment.” This prompted a strong response from television star Kevin Sorbo.

He tweeted on August 20,  “Stop sending money to Ukraine.”

Sorbo, who gained fame for starring in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys  and Andromeda, is an outspoken right-winger. Sorbo’s comments reflect a growing degree of frustration taking place within the US with regards to the US’s overcommitment to foreign policy quagmires.

In light of this new military aid package, there has been $10.6 billion in aid deployed to Ukraine.

At a time when inflation is soaring, crime is on the uptick, and the border is being overrun by illegal alien invaders, the last thing the US government should be doing is getting mired in a geopolitical conflict thousands of miles away with a nuclear power.

When an actor has to point out the ridiculous nature of a military aid package, you know your country’s politics are hitting rock bottom.

At this juncture, we’d better off heeding Hercules’ wisdom and stoping this deluge of foreign aid to Ukraine. There are far bigger problems going on in America that merit our ruling class’s full attention. Fighting Russia to the last Ukrainian is not one of them.
