Former Obama Ethics Chief Admits Hunter Biden’s Art Scam is ‘Perfect Mechanism for Funneling Bribes’ to White House

Obama’s former ethics chief recently appeared on CNN where he admitted the obvious about Hunter Biden’s art scam.

The fake news media has touted Hunter Biden as some sort of art prodigy in recent months, which followed with additional reports that his paintings were going for astronomical prices. This had conservatives immediately suggesting that this was part of a convoluted bribery scheme to purchase favor with his father’s administration.

Now, former United States Office of Government Ethics director Walter Shaub is essentially saying the exact same thing.

“So instead of disclosing who is paying outrageous sums for Hunter Biden’s artwork so that we could monitor whether the purchasers are gaining access to government, the WH tried to make sure we will never know who they are,” Shaub wrote while linking to a report from the Washington Post. “That’s very disappointing.”

Shaub said in a recent interview that Hunter Biden’s new career as an artist “just got the absolute appearance that he’s profiting off of his father’s fame.”

“He’s not selling under a pseudonym. He’s not waiting until his father is out of office. He’s not selling at any price comparable to what other first-time artists are selling,” Shaub added.

Shaub said that, at the very least, the names of the buyers of Hunter Biden’s art should be made public so that “any time one of those buyers got a meeting with an administration official … the public could judge whether or not they were getting preferential treatment.”

“The problem is, now they’ve set a precedent for the next president,” Shaub said. “Even if you happen to trust Joe Biden, what if the next president has the character of a Donald Trump? This would be a perfect mechanism for funneling bribes to that president.”

Shaub clarified his comments further after he was pressed by Fox News to explain them.

“The way to build public trust is to have uniform standards that you apply no matter who is in office and recognize that anything a leader does sets a precedent for future administration,” Shaub said.

“Whether or not White House officials believe that secret payments to the president’s son could lead to buyers receiving preferential treatment in this administration, they can’t vouch for future presidents who haven’t even taken office yet. And you can be sure future presidents will point to this arrangement to justify their own conduct,” he added.

The Biden White House, as usual, is shrugging off the controversy, and perhaps even reveling in it, just like they have with the fraudulent election and everything else.

“After careful consideration, a system has been established that allows for Hunter Biden to work in his profession within reasonable safeguards,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said on Friday. “Of course, he has the right to pursue an artistic career just like any child of a president has the right to pursue a career.”

The Biden administration is the most openly corrupt administration in American history, and all of Hunter Biden’s ghastly offenses have been swept under the rug. The whoremongering drug abuser will ultimately be absolved from whatever art scam he is cooking up right now as well.
