Former UN Weapons Inspector: Ukraine Has Lost 300,000 Military Personnel in Russo-Ukrainian Conflict

According to former United Nations Special Commission weapons inspector Scott Ritter, Ukrainian military’s personnel losses are hovering around 300,000

During an interview on the US Tour of Duty podcast that aired on April 7, 2023, Ritter called attention to how Ukraine’s military leadership is corrupt and has downplayed the number of individuals killed.

“Ukraine is trying to minimize the losses but the fact is, they are much larger,” Ritter said. He brought attention to how during a meeting with Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian armed forces Valery Zaluzhny revealed that Ukraine has lost 257,000 military personnel. In addition, 60,000 of the 83,000 of missing Ukrainian forces are presumed to be dead.

While Russia appears to be on the verge of pulling off a Pyrrhic victory, Ukraine has clearly taken massive losses.

For the Collective West, Ukraine is a mere geopolitical chess piece. It does not matter how many lives it loses. All that matters to these geopolitical arsonists is if Russia’s military is degraded and Russia gets bogged down in a protracted military struggle.

Should this conflict continue in this manner, the destruction of the Ukrainian state is likely in the cards.
