Gavin Newsom Plans on Exploiting Wuhan Virus Pandemic to “Usher in Progressive Era”

California Governor Gavin Newsom is taking full advantage of the Wuhan Virus crisis to advance his progressive agenda.
According to the California Globe, Newsom has emulated Trump’s strategy of providing daily updates on how the respective leaders are fighting the crisis. In one of the press briefings, a Bloomberg reporter asked Newsom if he was going to use the crisis to put California on a an even more progressive path.
“There is opportunity for reimagining a progressive era as it pertains to capitalism,” Newsom stated. “So yes, absolutely we see this as an opportunity to reshape the way we do business and how we govern.”
Newsom continued by saying that this “shouldn’t send shivers up the spines” of either party, but that it’s needed to “meet this moment.”

California is already one of the bastions of American progressivism and has been a trend setter for public policy.
From its draconian gun laws that leave law-abiding citizens disarmed to its growing homeless problems, California is becoming an exemplar of state dysfunction.
With a new crisis underway, Newsom will milk this situation for all its worth and double down on the policies that wrecked California.
These are times when the tyrants come out of the shadows and show their real faces.
