Giant Trump Rat is Allowed Inside of CPAC
On March 4, 2023, conservative activist Laura Loomer sounded the alarms on how the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) allowed for a giant, inflatable Trump rat to present at the conference. The Trump rat was set up ahead of Trump’s speech on March 4.
Loomer tweeted, “What the hell is wrong with@CPAC ?? They have a giant Trump rat there ahead of President Trump speaking.”

She added, “The Trump RAT that was allowed inside @CPAC and set up at CPAC was done so by a Leftist political operative named Claude Taylor who runs a PAC called MadDogPac. Here he is bragging about it on Twitter yesterday. Why did CPAC allow this person inside? This seems deliberate.”

The activist in question, Claude Taylor tweeted the following on March 3:
“We came. We saw. We rat. #TrumpRat at #CPAC2023”

The irony here is that nationalist activist Nick Fuentes was removed from the Conservative Political Action Conference on March 2 when he attempted to attend the conference. CPAC chairman Matt Schlapp confirmed this development on March 3.
Schlapp declared in a statement on his Twitter account that Fuentes was barred from attending due to his “hateful racist rhetoric and actions” not being in line with CPAC’s mission.
“We are pleased that our conference welcomes a wide array of conservative perspectives from people of different backgrounds, but we are concerned about the rise in antisemitic rhetoric (or Jew hatred) in our country and around the globe, whether it be in the corridors of power and academia or through the online rantings of bigots like Fuentes,” Schlapp stated.
CPAC continues to be a joke. It’s mind-boggling how conservative orgs punish ostensibly right-wing individuals harder than cultural leftists. At some point, the Right has to start coming to grips that its most effective and energetic activists are going to be part of the most controversial elements of the America First movement.
Oh well. You can’t be picky about your allies especially in an existential fight against the Left. Any move to undermine such coalitions will just result in the Left gaining a stronger foothold and being able to dish out more damage against the Right.
