Gov. Greg Abbott: Texans Should Wear Masks in Their Own Backyards Until COVID-19 Vaccine is Ready

Abbott has shown his true colors.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott, once seen as a leader for freedom and liberty within the Republican Party, is showing his true colors by caving to COVID-19 mass hysteria.

Abbott demanded last week for Texas residents to wear masks at all times, even if they are in their own backyards, to stop the spread of COVID-19.

“People have had an altered state of life for the past few months—one that requires wearing a mask, one that requires staying at home if at all possible, one that reduces your level of interactivity with others. And that’s a challenge,” said Abbott.

“If people do not continue in a very disciplined way to maintain the highest level of standards, what you will see is an acceleration of the expansion of COVID-19,” he added.

Abbott is echoing the words of far-left Democrat state leaders who have used the hysteria to transform society. Abbott is marching in lockstep with the agenda instead of speaking out about the fraud.

“Sometimes it’s just gatherings of family members, sometimes it’s gatherings of friends,” said Abbott. “Sometimes it’s in a backyard, sometimes it’s at some other type of social event.”

“People need to understand that until we have better medications that can treat COVID-19, until we have the vaccines that will end COVID-19, people must maintain vigilance, even when just gathering with family members, to make sure you do continue to wear masks,” he added.

This is not the first time that Abbott has sold out his constituents with regards to the COVID-19 pandemic. He began embracing the alarmism last month, lacking the courage of his convictions to stand for freedom at a time it was needed the most. He issued a mask order that month and attempted to dupe Texans into believing it was binding law when it was not.

“Governor Greg Abbott today issued an Executive Order requiring all Texans to wear a face covering over the nose and mouth in public spaces in counties with 20 or more positive COVID-19 cases, with few exceptions,” the order read.

“COVID-19 is not going away, in fact it’s getting worse. Now more than ever, action by everyone is needed until treatments are available for COVID-19,” Abbott said in a video release to accompany his executive action. “We must do more to slow the spread without locking Texas back down.”

Big League Politics reported about irregularities in the Texas reporting numbers, which may be happening in order to keep the masses scared and stupefied until November’s election:

The positivity rates reached a stunning 24.5 percent last Wednesday, which caused the media alarmists to create more hysteria among the beleaguered masses.

DSHS press officer Lara Anton said that this happened because of a computer update that occurred on Aug. 1, resulting in positives being uploaded into the system multiple times. Coding errors were also discovered in one hospital lab and another commercial lab that resulted in additional positives being counted to the total.

Dallas County Director of Health and Human Services Dr. Phillip Huang made excuses for the glaring errors which are being used to shutter certain businesses throughout Texas.

“We are still dealing with paper faxes of lab data and lab reports – hundreds of those a day that we’re having to deal with,” Huang said.

“The systems have not really been designed to handle this many numbers,” he added. “It’s an unprecedented situation we’re dealing with.”

While the so-called experts would like to make it appear as if this some kind of honest mistake, irregularities in the reporting have steadily occurred throughout the country. Another supposed COVID-19 hot spot, Florida, is having similar problems with reporting phony numbers.

Abbott does not have the fortitude to tell the truth about COVID-19 to Texans. This makes him culpable in the immense and perhaps irreversible societal damage that has been caused by the scamdemic.

Billionaire Mike Bloomberg Pays $16 Million in Fines of Black and Hispanic Felons to Enable Them to Vote

Bribery?

Published

Billionaire and former New York City Mayor has raised $16 million dollars to pay off outstanding fines of Black and Hispanic felons in Florida, according to reporting from Axios on Tuesday. Florida restricts the voting rights of convicted criminals until they’ve paid off fines levied for their crimes by the criminal justice system.

It appears that Bloomberg’s fine repayment initative was only available to Black and Hispanic felons. Axios reported that to qualify for Bloomberg’s money, applicants had to have outstanding fines of less than $1,500, be already registered to vote, and to be Black or Latino.

White felons need not apply.

The program has reportedly already cleared the fines of 32,000 felons in the state, enabling them to vote in the election. It erases the punitive aspect of the court system’s fines, which were levied in the first place in order to require convicted criminals to personally make amends for their actions.

Bloomberg’s felon bailout giveaway is legally questionable, and Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz has requested that Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody investigate what he’s doing. If he’s paying felons to vote for any one specific candidate, Bloomberg is in violation of campaign finance rules and could be liable to serve jail time .

The right to vote is fundamental to our democracy and no American should be denied that right,” said a Bloomberg spokesperson when asked about the fine repayment initiative. But it doesn’t seem as if the failed Democratic primary candidate is willing to buy back the voting rights of individuals who might be less inclined to vote for Joe Biden in November.

Bloomberg already tried and failed to buy the nomination in the Democratic primary, and now he’s trying to buy the crucial swing state of Florida for Joe Biden. Corrupt oligarchs should not be allowed to abuse the political system with impunity.
