Greg Abbott’s Migrant Busing Program Sends 63,000 Migrants to Sanctuary Cities

According to a post Texas Governor Greg Abbott published on X/Twitter on November 5, 2023,

the number of migrants bused from Texas to several sanctuary cities reached north of  63,000 this week, according to a post on X by Governor Greg Abbott. The migrants were bused from Texas to blue cities such as Washington D.C., New York City, Philadelphia, Chicago, Denver, and Los Angeles.

Governor Abbott shared a report on X demonstrating that the number of migrants bused from Texas to the six sanctuary cities reached over 63,000.

New York City was the leader in the busing list, with it having to take in over 22,600 migrants. Chicago  came in second place with over 18,000, and then Washington,D.C. came in third place at over 12,500.

In addition, the Governor posted a video demonstrating the ongoing construction of Texas border barriers. In this case, the video showcased the construction of a border wall in Cameron County.

The migrant busing initiatives carried out by Governor Abbott have fallen under the purview of State’s Operation Lone Star.

The busing of migrants to blue states initially served their political purpose of highlighting the insanity of US migration policy. However, the Texas state border needs to start deporting these migrants. Not only does busing these migrants into blue cities demographically transform the cities, it also opens the potential for crafty politicians in these jurisdictions to ship these migrants off to other cities in the American interior that are not as impacted by non-white immigration.

At the end of the day, a strong border security policy where illegal alien invaders are immediately deported is what’s needed to stave off this mass migration crisis.
