Hallmark Channel Caves to LGBT Lobby, Vows to Create Content Promoting Gay Agenda
The Hallmark Channel, a TV network known for its wholesome family-oriented content, has caved to the LGBT lobby and will be producing content promoting the gay agenda in the near future.
Executives with the Crown Media Family Networks, which is the parent company of the Hallmark Channel, have confirmed that they are looking to inject pro-LGBT propaganda into their content as soon as possible.
“We are continuing to expand our diversity,” Michelle Vicary, Crown Media’s executive vice president of programming, said to The Wrap. “We are looking at pitches for LGBTQ movies.”
“Like the industry, there is a lot of work to be done to catch up,” she added, making it clear that conforming to the gay agenda is among her top priorities.
Hallmark folded shortly after the LGBT movement started a campaign to pressure them into pushing their agenda on their airwaves. LGBT activists began complaining that there weren’t any Christmas movies that featured sodomy in the plot.
“The competition to witness the first gay kiss will most likely make it a hit. As for advertisers, they’re already there. Can you imagine Target, to name one, pulling their Hallmark advertising budget over a gay kiss? The reality is new advertisers want to be in on the event, and even if not, the backlash would be too much to overcome,” LGBT Nation wrote in their article pushing for Hallmark to produce homosexual propaganda.
Although the Hallmark Channel is renown for producing wholesome content catering to a largely Christian audience, they chose to stab their supporters in the back in the name of political correctness. There are no entertainment options in which the LGBT agenda can be escaped in this day and age.
LifeSiteNews started a petition that quickly garnered over 30,000 signatures urging Hallmark not to make this morally and ethically bankrupt business decision that may ultimately hurt their bottom line.
“Hallmark would be offending Christian viewers and Christian parents BIG TIME, by experimenting with homosexual themes, and, or cooperating with the LGBT indoctrination agenda,” the petition reads. “Hallmark should also know that if they give-in to the LGBT agenda, the LGBT activists will never be satisfied.”
However, Hallmark has chosen to cave to the whims of the leftist mob. Similar to what happened with Chic-Fil-A last month, corporate America has once again shown its hostility toward Christian values. Capitalism is doing absolutely nothing to protect traditional values, with the free market being hijacked by Western Civilization’s enemies.
