Henry Repeating Arms Makes $75,000 in Donations to Prominent Gun Rights Organizations
At the end of January, Henry Repeating Arms announced that it would be making donations of roughly $75,000 to several of the most prominent Second Amendment advocacy groups in the country. This donation forms part of its Guns for Great Causes donation campaign. At the Shooting Hunting and Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, Henry Repeating Arms presented checks of $25,000 each to the Second Amendment Foundation, Gun Owners of America, and the Firearms Policy Coalition.
“Henry Repeating Arms will never back down when it comes to supporting the individuals and organizations that work tirelessly to fight back against the political degradation of law-abiding Americans’ right to keep and bear arms,” declared Anthony Imperato, CEO and Founder of Henry Repeating Arms. “Just like our Constitution, these organizations belong to and for the people. They have our backs, and we will always have theirs.”
Henry Repeating Arms is one of the premier rifle and shotgun manufacturers in the United States. The company has built a positive reputation for its Guns for Great Causes charitable program, which AmmoLand noted that it “is focused on assisting the families of sick children, children’s hospitals, military veteran organizations, law enforcement and first responder groups, Second Amendment advocacy groups, and wildlife conservation organizations.” The company currently has over 600 employees and over 350,000 square feet of manufacturing space in its New Jersey and Wisconsin facilities.
The firearms company is named in commemoration of Benjamin Tyler Henry, the inventor of the Henry lever action rifle in 1860 — the world’s first repeating rifle.
Firearms manufacturers have every reason to be supporting no compromise Second Amendment organizations given how Gun Control Inc. is trying to bankrupt them through lawsuits and burdensome regulations. It makes zero sense for these companies to be making common cause with milquetoast “pro-gun” actors.
