HE’S BACK: O’Rourke Wants To Confiscate Semi-Automatic Rifles From Law-Abiding Citizens

Texas Democratic gubernatorial nominee Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke is back in the news – and for the same reason; He wants to take away guns from law-abiding citizens.
In the wake of the tragic shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, last week, O’Rourke has been working hard to score Democrat political points by smearing Republicans as “murderers” for not subscribing to his outlandish gun control policies.
Now, O’Rourke is saying that people who currently own semi-automatic rifles should have them confiscated – WATCH:

“I just took the position that may not be politically popular, may be too honest, that not only should no one be able to purchase an AR-15 or an AK-47, because they’re designed to kill humans and their high-impact, high-velocity rounds will just tear up everything inside,” O’Rourke said in the clip. “You’ll bleed out before we can even get you back to life.”
Then the Democrat said, “But I don’t think that the people who have them right now in civilian use should be able to keep them.”
In another publicity stunt from just last week, O’Rourke heckled Governor Greg Abbott during a presser on the Uvalde shooting.
“You want a solution? Stop selling AR-15s in the state of Texas. You want a solution? Have universal background checks. We don’t have them. You want a solution? Red flag laws or extreme risk protection orders, which stop a shooting before it happens,” he said after being escorted out.
The whole spectacle was so tasteless and out-of-line that Uvalde Mayor Don Mclaughlin infamously called O’Rourke a “sick son of a b****.”

For those who have been following O’Rourke and his failed journey towards power, it’s easy to notice that the gubernatorial nominee is a flip-flopping propaganda mouthpiece for the Democrat party who changes his tune on key issues to score points with hopeful voters.
For example, O’Rourke told reporters back in February of this year that he wasn’t interested in a gun ban when he thought it would win him more votes.
“I’m not interested in taking anything from anyone. What I wanna make sure that we do is defend the second amendment,” he said. “I wanna make sure we protect our fellow Texans far better than we do right now.
Remember in Feb. 2022 when Beto O'Rourke changed his view — because it's unpopular in Texas — about banning AR-15s and protecting 2A?

Remember when O’Rourke said “hell yes, we’re taking your AR-15” during the Democratic Presidential debate in Houston, Texas?
Of course, all of O’Rourke’s love for the Second Amendment changed when the political tide shifted in the wake of the Texas massacre. As other prominent Democrats are pushing for the same government interventions on gun sales in the nation – all the way up to abolishing the Second Amendment.
The move has the majority of Americans – including big names like Joe Rogan – sounding the alarms over its detrimental consequences in the future.
It’s also worth noting that the same gun laws O’Rourke is promoting would have made him the “ultimate red flag” in his younger years as teenage writings have emerged about him “murdering children” amongst other questionable things.
All in all, everything that comes out O’Rourke’s mouth should be seen and called out for what is; a sad political grift to tug on the heartstrings of Americans and ultimately score votes.
It’s distasteful, dishonest, and does not pose well for potential voters.
