Howard Professor Declares that DEI Is “Not Only Legally Permissible, But Also Morally Imperative”

NAACP Education Innovation and Research Director Ivory Toldson recently pushed for additional Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives at “predominantly White institutions” (PWIs) of higher learning in a piece he wrote for the Education Trust.
Toldson is also a professor at the Human Development & Psychoeducational Studies department at Howard University. He wrote that “students of color often encounter discrimination, isolation, and hostility at predominately White institutions.” He alluded to a survey that asserted that the percentage of black students who expressed feelings of discrimination were roughly 20%.
Then-President Barack Obama appointed Toldson as the executive director of the White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities. He also previously served as a senior research analyst for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation.
His authored the book, No BS (Bad Stats): Black People Need People Who Believe in Black People Enough Not to Believe Every Bad Thing They Hear about Black People, where he claimed that “everything you thought you knew about Black people generally, and educating Black children specifically, was based on BS (bad stats).”
In his piece, Toldson claims that “DEI efforts are not only legally permissible, but also morally imperative for higher education,” despite the recent Supreme Court ruling which struck down affirmative action policies for college admissions. .
Toldson’s column was released in connection to the Education Trust’s new published report, “Creating Positive College Campus Racial Climates for Students of Color.” Toldson urges elected officials to read the report and “take action to make their campuses more diverse, equitable, and inclusive.”
Per the report, “Students of color often experience college differently than their White peers because of the negative attitudes, behavior, and practices some peers and faculty have toward students of color due to their race and/or ethnicity.”
The report offers several recommendations for state and federal education policy, which includes mandating state higher education institutions to provide “a minimum amount of permanent, annual funding toward supporting racial/ethnic cultural centers and student organizations,” and a Congressional mandate that all higher education institutions undergo a “campus racial climate assessment.”
DEI is simply another scheme to undermine America’s core, white European population. It’s not about helping blacks, it’s all about finding ways to disempower and eventually subjugate whites to the woke tyrants who will be in charge of the managerial state.
The absolute abolition of DEI policies is of the utmost importance if we want to keep the anti-whites at bay.
