Hillary Clinton had some strong words for President-to-be Donald J. Trump in 2016, when he accused the DNC of enabling voter fraud.
“Donald Trump refused to say that he’d respect the results of this election,” she tweeted on October 24, 2016. “That’s a direct threat to democracy.”
Today, the shoe is on the other foot.
The DNC is filing a lawsuit against the Trump Campaign, WikiLeaks, and the Russian Government for alleged collusion in 2016.
It appears that 18 months after the election, Clinton still has not been able to get over her loss. She is so aggrieved, in fact, that she is going to “threaten our democracy” by failing to respect the results of the election.
“During the 2016 presidential campaign, Russia launched an all-out assault on our democracy, and it found a willing and active partner in Donald Trump’s campaign,” DNC Chairman Tom Perez said.
Welcome to the
Trump Resistance Democratic Party, where losing power is equivalent to subversion of democracy. Aside, we live in a constitutional republic, not a democracy – someone should probably alert the left.
“This constituted an act of unprecedented treachery: the campaign of a nominee for President of the United States in league with a hostile foreign power to bolster its own chance to win the presidency,” Perez continued.
Remember when the Clinton Foundation was flooded with cash as Secretary of State Hillary Clinton dealt 20% of America’s uranium supply to Russia, the “hostile foreign power?” Apparently, that was not treacherous enough to for the Democrats to care.
Remember when President Obama was caught on a hot mic telling Dimitri Medvedev, then president of Russia, that he would “have more flexibility” in working with the Russians during a nuclear security summit in South Korea in 2012?
These are the same Democrats who today accuse Trump of colluding with Russia – an allegation that is still unsupported by any evidence – and claim that any contact with Russia is a treasonous.
Just another day in the life of the left.
