Ilhan Omar Says She Believes Biden Committed Sexual Assault, But Will Vote For Him Anyway

Published

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) has stated publicly that she believes Tara Reade, a former staffer for presumptive Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden who has alleged he sexually assaulted her, but will vote for Biden despite the fact that she thinks he is a predator.

“Believing survivors is consistent with my values. Yes, I endorsed against Biden and I didn’t pick him as our nominee. With that said, in this interview I did on May 6th, we talked about that and quotes aren’t always in context. I will vote for him and help him defeat Trump,” Omar wrote in a tweet attempting to express solidarity for Reade while shilling for Biden.

“We can’t fend off perceived attacks with attacks on others. This is the most important election cycle of our lifetimes and we aren’t going to have a chance if we don’t spend our energy in mobilizing and building enthusiasm against Trump. That’s the goal we should all be united on,” Omar wrote in a subsequent Twitter post.

She also talked about her stance in favor of voting for a man she believes is a sexual predator during an interview with The Sunday Times.

“There’s a lot of unsavory stuff. It is troubling, I do believe Tara Reade, I believe it’s important for us to give space for women to come forward and share their stories. It takes years and years for sexual assault survivors to come forward. Justice can be delayed but it should never be denied,” Omar said.

“If considerations [over the candidate] were something I had influence over, just candidly here, we’d probably have a different candidate,” she added – making it clear that Biden is not a candidate she finds particularly desirable.

Fellow “Squad” member Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) expressed a similar opinion that she would vote for a man she believes committed sexual assault because of her hatred for Trump.

“I reject the false choice that my party and our nominee can’t address the allegations at hand and defeat the occupant of the White House,” Pressley wrote.

Reade has come forward in recent weeks to accuse Biden of victimizing her in 1993 when he was a Senator and she worked under him:

Tara Reade, a former staffer for Joe Biden while he was serving in the Senate, filed a criminal complaint in Washington D.C. against her former boss on Saturday alleging he sexually assaulted her in 1993.

Reade attests that Biden “assaulted her in a Senate corridor, shoving his hand under her skirt and penetrating her with his fingers.” Business Insider has reported that the “statute of limitations for the alleged assault has passed,” but this troublesome news is not expected to help Biden’s presidential chances.

Reade spoke her truth to writer Katie Halper when she appeared on her podcast last month. Reade claims that she has been trying to get justice for years but her story has mostly fallen on deaf ears due to Biden being protected.

“We were alone, and it was the strangest thing,” Reade said to Halper. “There was no, like, exchange really, he just had me up against the wall. His hands were on me and underneath my clothes. And then, he went, he went down my skirt and then up inside it, and he penetrated me with his fingers…and um…He was kissing me at the same time and he was saying something to me.”

“He got finished doing what he was doing and I, how I was pulled back and he said, ‘Come on man, I heard you liked me.’ And that phrase stayed with me because I kept thinking what I might have said,” she continued. “And I can’t remember exactly if he said ‘I thought’ or if ‘I heard.’ It’s like he implied that I had done this.”

Reade’s allegations are yet to be proven by hard evidence, but this situation has certainly exposed the incredible hypocrisy of Democrats when it comes to the #MeToo movement and sexual assault claims.

The American Right Should Beware of Campaign Consultant Grifters

Some people want to make a quick buck with zero results to show for it.

Heading into 2022 and 2024, America First operatives should be careful dealing with campaigns run by grifters.

Patrick Clerbune of VDARE put out an informative post that serves as a warning to all about the rampant corruption within Republican political consultant outfits.

He highlighted a Washington Post piece detailing how donors gave more than $8 million to Kim Klacik, a black woman running as a Republican candidate in Maryland’s 7th district. In reality, the money donated to Klacik’s campaign went straight to the fat pockets of political consultants who knew full well that she couldn’t win.

The Post went into further detail about this naked grifting opportunity:

Her campaign is an example of how some consulting firms are profiting handsomely from Republican candidates who have robust appeal in today’s politically charged environment…

By the end of Klacik’s campaign, she would raise a staggering $8.3 million and pay nearly $3.7 million of it to Olympic Media, according to campaign finance filings.

For political veterans, this is nothing new under the sun. Political consultant parasites such as Karl Rove are notorious for enriching themselves by running failed campaigns and diverting resources from actual winnable races. Rove was also involved in the Georgia Senate dumpster fire, where the GOP dropped a whopping $1 billion and still ended up losing both seats.

Pointing out how the managerial state is detrimental to all Americans, especially minorities, is one thing. But using failed ethnic pandering and running campaigns in districts that can never be won by Republicans is another.

In the aforementioned case, Maryland’s 7th district has never gone Republican in its history and was the long-time home of Elijah Cummings from 1996 until his death in 2019. Democrat challenger Kweisi Mfume completely obliterated Klacik 74 to 25 in the 2020 general election.

Intelligent nationalists would be wise to recognize that certain races are lost causes, which drain resources that could otherwise be allocated towards winnable campaigns. A large degree of skepticism should always be directed towards the political consultant class. Their money-making model does not always translate into electoral success.
