Illegal Alien Arrested for Selling a Kilo of Meth in Pennsylvania

A Mexican national living illegally in Pennsylvania was arrested earlier this year for selling a kilo of methamphetamine to undercover police officer, as authorities say other illegals are pushing a meth comeback in an area that has just finished reeling from a heroin epidemic.

“At a news conference on Wednesday, Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan held some of the highest quality crystal meth that he says has ever been in the region,” according to WPVI. “He says meth is making a comeback thanks in part to dealers like Reuben Vargas Santillan.”

Vargas Santillan, whom Hogan confirmed is an illegal alien, was arrested earlier this year, but is the suspected ringleader of a group connected to Mexican cartels that is intentionally flooding the region with meth with the intention of addicting the residents.

“The DA says Vargas Santillan was working directly with Mexican cartels,” the report said. “In fact, he says dealers and cartels have a business model for building demand for meth.”

Four other “low-level” dealers were recently busted selling the drug, as local police chief Gerald Simpson warned of violence associated with use of the drug.

The news of the cartel-related drug uptick comes as leaders of both parties in Washington, D.C. stall on a solution for closing America’s wide open southern border.

Big League Politics reported:

President Donald J. Trump has declared a national state of emergency, for which several heavily-blue states immediately sued his administration. Democrats refuse to budge on the issue, unwilling to secure America’s borders. As illegal border crossings surge, they blocked a meaningful amount of wall funding in the 2019 federal budget.

In what many conservatives see as a colossal failure, the Republican Congress, led by former Speaker Paul Ryan, current Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, failed to deliver wall funding to the president’s desk during all of 2017 and 2018, when Republicans held the House, the Senate, and the White House.
