An illegal alien in Florida has been arrested and charged with two counts of sexual battery of a child, two counts of lewd molestation of a child under 12, use of a child in sexual performance, two counts of sexual performance by a child, and unlawful use of a two-way communication device, after his Wednesday arrest.
“Detectives said the child first said 41-year-old Carlos Calderon, who came to the country on a work visa which has since expired, had sexually explicit pictures of a child on his phone,” according to Fox13. “Later, the child said she had been abused by Calderon starting when she was 7 years old.”
Authorities received a tip about Calderon’s deviant activities, leading them to the investigation. Sexually explicit photos of the victim were found on his phone. Calderon admitted to taking the photos and to sexually abusing the child. When asked for the specifics about how he sexually abused the child, he responded by saying, “hell, I don’t know.”
He also blamed the victim.
“It’s not my fault, it’s hers,” he reportedly said.
Calderon had been arrested eight times previously, from crimes ranging from driving without a valid license to possession of drug paraphernalia. His fingerprints were in the criminal justice system, and reportedly returned a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) “warrant for the arrest of an alien.”
Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has been made aware of the arrest, but there are not yet reports of an ICE detainer being placed on Calderon.
Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd is not worried about deportation. He reportedly wants to see Calderon locked up for the rest of his life for the eight felonies for which he has been charged.
“There are no words to describe how horrible this is,” Judd reportedly said.
For those keeping score at home, this is the third story of child sexual abuse at the hands of an illegal alien in the past week. All crimes committed by illegals are 100 percent preventable, if only Democrats would commit to a sane immigration policy.
