Illegal Pleads Guilty of Sexually Abusing Child in North Carolina

An illegal alien living in North Carolina was convicted and sentenced to jail time after pleading guilty to sexually abusing a child.

“Ignacio Cortez Macedo, 36 of Claremont, pleaded guilty to second-degree forcible sex offence and indecent liberties with a child,” according to WBTV.

The girl, aged 13, told police during a forensic interview that Macedo touched her private parts on three separate occasions in June of 2018.

He was sentenced to 12 years in prison, and is subject to deportation, according to the report, meaning that he was in the United States illegally. After his prison release, he will also be required to register as a sex offender.

No further details about Macedo’s plea agreement were available.

Macedo’s sentence comes amidst a vicious fight over border security in Washington, D.C., the result of which has been gridlock and continued open borders. Neither party has been able to accomplish the goal of protecting Americans from illegal invaders.

As illegal border crossings surge, Democrats blocked a meaningful amount of wall funding in the 2019 federal budget. President Donald J. Trump declared a National Emergency to address the issue, with plans to diver Department of Defense funding for the project, for which several heavily-blue states immediately sued his administration.

In addition to failing to deliver wall funding during 2017 and 2018, 12 Republican Senators voted against the president’s emergency wall funding, including Sens. Mitt Romney (R-Utah), Marco Rubio (R-Florida), and Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.)
