No further details about Macedo’s plea agreement were available.

Macedo’s sentence comes amidst a vicious fight over border security in Washington, D.C., the result of which has been gridlock and continued open borders. Neither party has been able to accomplish the goal of protecting Americans from illegal invaders.

As illegal border crossings surge, Democrats blocked a meaningful amount of wall funding in the 2019 federal budget. President Donald J. Trump declared a National Emergency to address the issue, with plans to diver Department of Defense funding for the project, for which several heavily-blue states immediately sued his administration.

In addition to failing to deliver wall funding during 2017 and 2018, 12 Republican Senators voted against the president’s emergency wall funding, including Sens. Mitt Romney (R-Utah), Marco Rubio (R-Florida), and Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.)

Biden Pledges “Not Another Foot” Of Border Wall Construction If He’s Elected President

A return to the open borders status quo.

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden pledged that construction of new border wall would be stopped in the event he’s elected president, halting the progress that has been made in building a wall under President Donald Trump’s administration. President Trump proposed the construction of a border wall as his signature campaign proposal in 2016, and the federal government has built more then 265 miles of new border wall during his tenure.

There will not be another foot of wall construction in my administration,” President Biden promised in an interview with the Dallas Morning News. Biden went on to claim that the federal government would use “high-tech capacity” on the border, an approach long favored by Democrats who emphasize promptly placing illegal aliens into the asylum process over enforcing American immigration laws and deterring illegal entry.

Biden would also end litigation to confiscate land along the border for national security purposes. “End. Stop. Done. Over. Not going to do it. Withdraw the lawsuits. We’re out. We’re not going to confiscate the land.

Biden did decline to commit to “tearing down” the border wall that has already been constructed.

Illegal immigration has begun to surge once again as the American economy progresses from the damage of the coronavirus pandemic, and Border Security have recently apprehended large groups of criminal aliens working with open borders groups in smuggling operations.

A hypothetical Biden presidency would all but invite hundreds of thousands if not millions of illegal immigrants to the country, with prospective border crossers hoping to take advantage of a lax immigration enforcement system focused on a few hardened criminals.
