Inspector General: McCabe Leaked To The Press And Lied About It

Published

on

“[W]e concluded that McCabe’s decision to confirm the existence of the CF investigation through an anonymously sourced quote, recounting the content of a phone call with a senior department official in a manner designed to advance his personal interests at the expense of department leadership, was clearly not within the public interest exception,” according to the Inspector General report.

Fox News reports: “The report on McCabe found that McCabe authorized a leak to a [Wall Street] Journal reporter about the contents of a telephone call in August 2016. “Among the purposes of the disclosure was to rebut a narrative that had been developing following a story in The WSJ on Oct. 23, 2016, that questioned McCabe’s impartiality in overseeing FBI investigations involving [Clinton], and claimed that McCabe had ordered the termination of the [FBI’s Clinton Foundation investigation] due to Department of Justice pressure,” the report says. That leak confirmed the existence of the probe, which then-FBI Director James Comey had until then refused to do. The report says that McCabe “lacked candor” in a conversation with Comey when he said that he had not authorized the disclosure and didn’t know who had done so.”

Even Mr. Magoo Jeff Sessions threw McCabe under the bus, saying, McCabe ‘made an unauthorized disclosure to the news media and lacked candor − including under oath − on multiple occasions.”

Big League Politics first reported that Andrew McCabe was the ringleader of the anti-President Donald Trump operation:

“Russia” special counsel Robert Mueller has formed a political team with his friend, fired FBI director James Comey, and the current FBI director Andrew McCabe to work together against President Donald Trump. But Mueller and Comey are not the ringleaders. Surprisingly, it’s McCabe.

An inside source told Big League Politics that McCabe is “running the show,” and “he’s the key.”

“Mueller and McCabe are assembling a better political operation than Hillary had in the campaign. The trio of Mueller/McCabe and Comey are all creatures of the swamp,” the source explained. “Any Republican who thinks this isn’t a political operation and isn’t geared toward impacting 2018 and beyond is absolutely nuts.”

“I think McCabe is the most politically savvy given how he navigated the controversy with his wife’s campaign donations and the Clinton investigation,” the source continued.

WATCH: Corey Stewart Demolishes Tim Kaine In First Virginia Senate Debate

Published

on

HOT SPRINGS, VIRGINIA — Republican U.S. Senate nominee Corey Stewart galvanized the crowd at his first debate against Democrat incumbent Tim Kaine, winning major applause on nearly every point.

PBS moderator Judy Woodruff was surprisingly fair, giving Stewart a chance to obliterate Kaine from all angles while the Hillary Clinton running mate stood frozen, shellshocked, a grim look on his face. Kaine frequently said that he agrees with President Trump when attacked head-on by Stewart. During Stewart’s segments, Kaine furrowed his brows and glanced desperately at his campaign staff, who seemed demoralized by Stewart’s upset victory.

The only time the Kaine campaign team managed to influence the TV cameras occurred when they all laughed loudly at Stewart’s accurate claim that President Trump is standing up to Russia. But even the dying Russian collusion narrative could not save Kaine from the shellacking that was waiting for him at the Omni Homestead Resort. When the debate was over, press cameras raced to surround Stewart while Kaine flop-sweated through a few perfunctory interviews in a lesser corner.

Stewart rose to the occasion regarding the media’s prime talking point about him: that he is somehow racist because he has met racists, whom he disavowed. Given multiple chances by Stewart, Kaine refused to condemn an anti-Semitic office mate in Charlottesville, saying only that her well-documented anti-Semitic views on foreign policy are “not necessarily my” views.

Here is the entire beatdown in full. We will be highlighting different aspects of this epic smackdown as the day goes on and the people of Virginia acclimate themselves to what has just become a dead-on competitive U.S. Senate race.
