Intelligence Community Hacks Shill for Tech Monopoly

Intelligence Community Hacks Shill-

Senior officials within the intelligence community, a.k.a. the deep state, are shilling hard for Big Tech monopolies.

They issued an open letter to policymakers defending the absolute power of corporations like Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Google to ruthlessly dominate the marketplace, saying that putting limits on their hegemony would help the Rooskies, or something.

“U.S. technology platforms have given the world the chance to see the real story of the Russian military’s horrific human rights abuses in Ukraine, including the atrocities committed in Bucha, and the incredible bravery of the Ukrainian people who continue to stand their ground. Social media platforms are filled with messages of support for Ukraine and fundraising campaigns to help Ukrainian refugees,” the deep state spooks wrote.

“U.S. policymakers must not inadvertently hamper the ability of U.S. technology platforms to counter increasing disinformation and cybersecurity risks, particularly as the West continues to rely on the scale and reach of these firms to push back on the Kremlin. But recently proposed congressional legislation would unintentionally curtail the ability of these platforms to target disinformation efforts and safeguard the security of their users in the U.S. and globally,” they added.

Individuals who signed onto the letter include: James R. Clapper, Former Director of National Intelligence; Jane Harman, Former U.S. Representative from California and Ranking Member of the House Intelligence Committee; Jeh C. Johnson, Former Secretary of Homeland Security; Michael J. Morell, Former Acting Director and Deputy Director, Central Intelligence Agency; Leon E. Panetta, Former Secretary of Defense and the Central Intelligence Agency; Admiral Michael S. Rogers, Former Commander of U.S. Cyber Command and Former Director of the National Security Agency; and Frances F. Townsend, Former Assistant to the President for Counterterrorism and Homeland Security.

Renegade left-wing journalist Glenn Greenwald noted the weakness of these arguments in a response op/ed posted on his Substack account. He noted that these deep state hacks are trying to block bipartisan legislation that is overwhelmingly popular with the masses that would cut the tech giants down to size.

“The cynical exploitation could hardly be more overt: if you hate Putin the way any loyal and patriotic American should, then you must devote yourself to full preservation of the power of Google, Facebook, Apple, and Amazon,” Greenwald said.

Big League Politics has reported on how tech giants have censored content in order to gin up animus against Russia and push the preferred warmongering narrative of the deep state:

The alt-tech video platform Rumble is hosting iconic filmmaker Oliver Stone’s documentary, “Ukraine on Fire” that is being censored by Big Tech.

“YouTube removed [Stone’s] documentary, “Ukraine on Fire.” We believe the public should decide what it sees, not Google execs. We’re proud to announce the producers uploaded the film to Rumble, enabling anyone who wishes to view it,” Rumble wrote in a Twitter post.

The description for “Ukraine on Fire,” which was produced by Stone and directed by Igor Lopatonok, is as follows:

“Ukraine. Across its eastern border is Russia and to its west-Europe. For centuries, it has been at the center of a tug-of-war between powers seeking to control its rich lands and access to the Black Sea. 2014’s Maidan Massacre triggered a bloody uprising that ousted president Viktor Yanukovych and painted Russia as the perpetrator by Western media. But was it? “Ukraine on Fire” by Igor Lopatonok provides a historical perspective for the deep divisions in the region which lead to the 2004 Orange Revolution, 2014 uprisings, and the violent overthrow of democratically elected Yanukovych. Covered by Western media as a people’s revolution, it was in fact a coup d’état scripted and staged by nationalist groups and the U.S. State Department. Investigative journalist Robert Parry reveals how U.S.-funded political NGOs and media companies have emerged since the 80s replacing the CIA in promoting America’s geopolitical agenda abroad.”

The intelligence community is firmly against what is best for the American people. President Eisenhower’s dire prophecies about the military-industrial complex have come to pass.
