INVASION: Watch as Caravan of Illegals Storm The Border, Hurl Rocks At Border Agents

Published

on

Central Americans linked to the seven-thousand strong ‘caravan’ rushed the U.S Border at the Tijuana point of entry on Sunday with the apparent intention of gaining entry to the United States.

A video of the event showed more than a hundred illegal aliens making a coordinated effort to cross the barrier between Mexico and the United States near the San Ysidro point of entry.

The caravan has become a point of irritation for Mexican authorities and communities, transcending the traditional perception of illegal immigration being a problem limited to the United States. The Mayor of Tijuana strongly expressed his disapproval of the arrival of the caravan in his city, going so far as to call for Mexican authorities to immediately deport the illegal aliens.

A group of men attempted to cross the border fence where authorities released tear gas in response.

In response to the attempt to infiltrate the border, U.S Customs and Border Patrol of San Diego announced that San Ysidro, a sector associated with the Tijuana-San Diego border, was temporarily closed off to all pedestrian crossings.

The arrival of the caravan in San Diego and subsequent attempts to cross the border illegally from the migrants show that mass migration from Central America won’t be easily deterred by either the American or Mexican governments. Many pundits deposited that the migrant caravan would simply break up or go away before reaching the U.S border- a prediction that proved to be false today as hundreds of migrants made it clear they would be willing to take drastic measures to enter the United States.

The potential for a new agreement between the United States and Mexico in which asylum seekers would have to wait in Mexico as their case for asylum was processed in the United States could lead to more attempts by illegal migrants to undertake dangerous illegal activities such as today’s mass crossing to enter the country.
