Published

on

A criminal investigation has been launched into the St. George, Utah fire that burned down a new Mormon church, which was under construction.

St. George Police stated: “The cause of the fire has not been determined. It is being treated as a criminal investigation due to burn patterns suggesting the fire originated from the exterior of the building.”

Utah resident Michelle Took stated: “Whether you believe this faith or not, it doesn’t matter. This is sacred ground. This is the Mormon’s place of worship, and to see the devastation, it just breaks my heart. It’s gut-wrenching.”
