CNN host Jake Tapper responded to the New York City terrorist attack Monday with a reference to the term “Allahu Akbar.”

At least six people are dead after an apparent terrorist ran down people in Manhattan with a motor vehicle. Here’s what Tapper said in his segment with guest James Clapper, former director of national intelligence under President Obama.

TAPPER: Allahu Akbar, God is great, sometimes said under the most beautiful of circumstances. And too often we hear it being said at moments like this.
