Jason Aldean Says Californians ‘Should Be Outraged’ Over School Vaccine Mandate

A report by The Hill said that country singer Jason Aldean wrote in an Instagram post Sunday that Californians should be “outraged” by Governor Gavin Newsom’s (D) new law passed which forces vaccinations on students in both public and private schools.

“So let me get this straight! It is no longer our decisions as parents (or free Americans) to make decisions about our kids, Gavin Newsom makes those decisions for us now??” Aldean wrote in the post.

“You gotta be kidding me! People in California should be outraged and people everywhere else better start standing up and speaking out NOW. This is not how America and being free works.”

The mandate applies to children ages 12 and older, with mandates applying to students across all ages in the K-12 education system reportedly planned once the FDA issues a full approval.

Many are furious with Newsom’s move, with critics claiming that is unconstitutional to force such experimental shots on schoolchildren, especially since the mandate compels both public and private institutions.

“I believe we will be the first state in America to move forward with this mandate and requirement, but I do not believe by any stretch of the imagination we will be the last state,” Newsom told reporters at a press conference.

“We hope this encourages folks to get vaccinated,” he said.

Aldean and his family have drawn controversy on Instagram in the past, recently upsetting many left-wing activists after his wife sported an anti-Joe Biden clothing line.
