Justice Department Sends Threatening Letter to Arizona Senate President, Claims Maricopa County Ballot Audit Could Violate Federal Law

The Department of Justice (DOJ) sent a threatening letter to Arizona senate president Karen Fann (R-Prescott) on Wednesday, who is leading efforts to audit ballots in Maricopa County.

“The Department has reviewed available information, including news reports and complaints regarding the procedures being used for this audit,” the DOJ wrote in the letter. “The information of which we are aware raises concerns regarding at least two issues of potential non-compliance with federal laws enforced by the Department.”

The DOJ is concerned that a private firm is auditing the ballots. It is in their best interests to make sure that nobody – other than perhaps their bought-and-paid-for deep state “experts” – can get a hold of any information that could be used to expose the election fraud cover-up raging since November.

“We have a concern that Maricopa County election records, which are required by federal law to be retained and preserved, are no longer under the ultimate control of elections officials, are not being adequately safeguarded by contractors, and are at risk of damage or loss,” the DOJ wrote.

The feds are setting the stage to throw specious charges at investigators and cast doubt on the findings of the audit with this intimidating letter.

“Past experience with similar investigative efforts around the country has raised concerns that they can be directed at minority voters, which potentially can implicate the anti-intimidation prohibitions of the Voting Rights Act. Such investigative efforts can have a significant intimidating effect on qualified voters that can deter them from seeking to vote in the future,” the DOJ wrote, shamelessly playing the race card to impede the investigation.

The Arizona GOP released a video response to this psychotic attempt to stop transparency and accountability from being achieved:

Big League Politics has reported on the desperation from the political establishment in stopping the Maricopa County audit:

The audit of ballots and computer systems in Maricopa County, Ariz. will continue as scheduled after the Arizona Democrat Party failed to put up the $1 million in bond needed to pause the process.

A judge required that the Democrats put up $1 million in order to put their money where their mouths are and be financially liable if the claims in their latest obstructionist lawsuit turn out to be illegitimate. They failed to put up the cash…

Reports indicated that Democrats sent 73 lawyers to Maricopa County in order to pull out all the stops in an attempt to stop transparency from being achieved. Former president Donald Trump released a comment in response to the news.

“The Democrats, upon hearing the news of the Court Order, have sent 73 lawyers to Arizona in an effort to stop this recount and full transparency because THEY KNOW WHAT THEY DID!” he said…

If substantial voter fraud is discovered in the upcoming audit, it could put the results of the 2020 presidential election in jeopardy and expose U.S. democracy as a hollow sham.”

The Democrats have so much to hide, and they are behaving as if they are guilty. They fear the consequences for what they have done to America and rightfully so.
