Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie Floats the Idea of Impeaching Biden if the United States Goes to War With Iran
On January 31, 2024, Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie appeared to float the idea of impeaching President Joe Biden if he kicks off a war with Iran.
Massie published a video from 2007 on X of then-Senator Biden threatening to impeach President George W. Bush if he prosecuted a war with Iran without receiving Congress’s approval.
“I made it clear to the president that if he takes this nation to war in Iran without congressional approval, I will make it my business to impeach him,” Biden declared in the video.
In the X post, Massie declared: “In 2007, Sen. Biden put the President on notice that he would impeach him for going to war with Iran without Congressional approval. Consider this your notice [President Biden].”
Massie’s post came at a time when reports surfaced about the Biden regime’s plans to kick off a multi-week bombing campaign that could strike Iranian assets outside of Iran as a response to the drone attack in Jordan that resulted in the deaths of three US troops. The Defense Department has revealed that it has no evidence of Iran being directly involved in the drone attack, save its delivery of weapons to Shia militias that American authorities believe were responsible for the attack.
The US is a Zionist-controlled state that bends the knee to Israel on geopolitical affairs in the Middle East. This applies to both parties, who are content with backing Israel unconditionally in its controversial domestic and foreign policies.
Massie needs to continue making these impeachment threats against Biden that such behavior will not be tolerated. At this point in the game, political force, not voluntary debates, will be what changes bad political behavior.
