Kid Rock: ‘I Love Black People!’

Published

on

In a lengthy Facebook post published early on Monday, Kid Rock slammed his detractors and those who have accepted his donations yet remain silent as he is under attack with false allegations.

In an attempt to shut down planned concerts in Detroit, protesters and the liberal National Action Network  (founded by the Reverend Al Sharpton) have been bringing up the musician’s previous use of the Confederate flag to silence his speech and paint him as a racist.

Many of his supporters are claiming that the attacks are politically motivated, as a poll from Delphi Analytica shortly after he announced his plan, the Michigan favorite, Kid Rock, or Robert James Ritchie, polled four points ahead of sitting Senator Stabenow, with 30% to her 26%, while 44% declined to answer or were undecided.

The poll was conducted from July 14-18 — beginning just two days after the Macomb County musician announced his intention to run in the Republican primary.

“I am the bona fide KING OF DETROIT LOVE and it makes me smile down deep that you haters know that! Your jealousy is merely a reflection of disgust for your own failures and lack of positive ideas for our city,” Kid Rock wrote.

The wealthy musician also vowed to pull his philanthropic efforts from the groups that have not stood with him.

“I am however very disappointed that none of the people, businesses or charities I have so diligently supported in Detroit have had anything to say about all these unfounded attacks from these handful of jackasses and The Detroit Free Press. So for the unforeseen future I will focus my philanthropy efforts on other organizations besides the ones I have supported in the past. I would however employ that NAN go ahead and make up these losses since they claim to be so good for Detroit and do not want me opening the arena and generating tons of jobs and tax dollars for the city and people I LOVE… IDIOTS! ….. (Has Al Sharpton even paid his back taxes yet?),” the statement continued.

The senate-hopeful concluded his post by saying, “P.P.P.P.P.S. I LOVE BLACK PEOPLE!!”

Michigan was once considered to be a solid blue state. It is now a battleground that seems to be up for grabs, as President Donald Trump won it in the general. This has been widely credited to the state largely consisting of blue collar voters who feel forgotten and neglected by “business as usual.”

The Never Trump Grifter Candidate Has MAJOR Financial Issues

Published

on

A candidate for U.S. Congress from Colorado has made many blunders in his campaign finance history that have been passed off either as mistakes or conveniently explained away.

Darryl Glenn is a County Commissioner for El Paso County, CO, former City Councilman in Colorado Springs and 2016 Candidate for U.S. Senate from Colorado who has a sordid history questionable campaign finance decisions. Not surprisingly, he is part of the NeverTrump establishment GOP. As most understand, the swamp crosses party lines and is not strictly geographically located in Washington.

Dating back to 2014, Glenn has made numerous payments to family members from his campaign committees. According to the Federal Election Commission’s Campaign Finance Database, when Glenn ran for U.S. Senate in 2016 and lost to incumbent Democrat Michael Bennet, he paid his wife, Jane Northrup Glenn, and her company Second Heaven Strategies a combined $54,672 for “consulting services:”

Year Amount Payee Purpose(s)
2017 $30,000 Second Heaven Strategies Campaign Consulting, Strategic Consulting
2016* $24,672 Jane Northrup Salary, Grassroots Consulting, Bonus
TOTAL $54,672
*The 2016 total includes a 11/9 payment of $5,672, reported as bonus & mileage reimbursement

During the final months of the same campaign, Glenn paid his daughter Ashley $13,000 for “grassroots consulting.” He also paid her $1000 per month for “social media consulting.” He made two payments of $1000 to Northrup Glenn’s  son from a previous marriage, Kevin Cruz for “campaign consulting:”

Year Amount Payee Purpose(s)
2016 $13,000 Ashley Glenn Grassroots Consulting, Salary
2017 $6,000 Ashley Glenn Social Media Consulting
2017 $2,000 Andrew Cruz Campaign Consulting
TOTAL $21,000

In 2014, Glenn ran a successful campaign for the Board of County Commission, where he paid $10,000 to his daughter Ashley, nearly half of the $24,000 spent during the whole cycle. The payments were made in October and November in $5000 installments, right at the end of the campaign, which Glenn won by 60 points. According to Glenn, the payments were made for social media and marketing.

Glenn has had issues with improperly handling excessive campaign contributions, too. According to FEC records, Glenn received several donations in excess of amount legally permitted during his 2016 Senate bid. Federal law requires the refunding of excessive donations within 60 days. Instead, Glenn held onto the donations until after the election ended:

In late November 2016, Glenn’s campaign cut Glenn a check for $70,815 according to FEC records. The check was refunded a week later, and the campaign declared it a mistaken payment in its finance report. Here is the receipt for the returned payment:

Big League Politics reported earlier today that Glenn is currently paying himself out of his campaign contributions and loaning the money back to his campaign. The move, while legal, is shifty and will allow Glenn to pay himself nearly $90,000 after the campaign ends.

#NeverTrump Candidate for U.S. Congress Pays Himself out of Campaign Funds

Published

on

A Republican candidate for U.S. Congress with a sordid history of supporting President Donald J. Trump has been paying himself a salary out of his campaign funds, FEC records show.

A County Commissioner in El Paso County, CO, Darryl Glenn, who disavowed his support for President Trump during the 2016 election cycle during which Glenn was running for U.S. Senate, paid himself four installments of $22,418 from April to June, according to the Colorado Springs Gazette.

“We’re entitled to it,” Glenn said. “It’s all by the book and legit.”

The FEC allows candidates for House, Senate, or president to pay themselves a salary as long as candidates do not pay themselves more than the salary made at their previous job. The rule, made in 2002, is meant to make it easier for non-wealthy candidates to run for office.

Glenn has been loaning back to his campaign all of the funds which he has taken,  a move that will allow him to pocket the full amount, almost $90,000, after the campaign is finished.

“I’m exercising the right to do that, and I’m loaning 100 percent right back to the campaign,” he said. “If you decide to do it, you have to do it this way,” he said. “There’s strict rules on how you do that.”

Glenn is running against three primary challengers in order to win the right to take on incumbent Rep. Doug Lamborn (R-CO) in November’s general election. His opponents are Colorado State Sen. Owen Hill, retired Texas judge Bill Rhea and former Green Mountain Falls, CO Mayor Tyler Stevens.

Glenn was a candidate for U.S. Senate in 2016. He made headlines after dropping his endorsement for President Donald J. Trump over lewd comments the President made in an interview with Billy Bush 13 years ago.

Never Trump Mark Sanford Goes Down In Flames, Might Go Back To Argentina After Primary Loss

We wish him a lovely retirement in Argentina with his mistress.

Published

In another casualty for #NeverTrumpers tonight, Rep. Mark Sanford of South Carolina’s First District has faced a result very few sitting Congressman have ever had to face: utter defeat.

Katie Arrington, an unapologetic America First candidate, defeated the incumbent soundly in the GOP primary. She will most likely go on to become yet another MAGA ally in Congress, as SC’s First is a heavily Republican district. It will be nice to have a Republican representing it.

President Trump spoke out on the race earlier today, emphatically endorsing Arrington. In fact, Trump referenced Mark Sanford’s rendezvous and hide out in Argentina during his governorship of South Carolina when he disappeared with a mistress.

“He is better off in Argentina,” said President Trump. The incident ultimately led to a hiatus from politics until running for Congress again in 2012.

In spite of President Trump’s numerous America First accomplishments, Sanford clung bitterly to his Never Trump positions. Voters in SC-1 responded by sending Sanford on a long and shameful hike up the ash heap of history.

We wish him a lovely retirement in Argentina with his mistress that ended his first marriage. (We have no idea if that’s actually where he is going, but we’d recommend it.)
