Megaupload founder and friend of Julian Assange has offered to provide Congress with written testimony and proof that murdered Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich was WikiLeaks’ source — if they will include his murder in their Russia investigation.
Kim Dotcom has also now claimed that he was involved in the leak — and that he personally knew Rich.
“If Congress includes #SethRich case into their Russia probe I’ll give written testimony with evidence that Seth Rich was @Wikileaks source,” Dotcom tweeted on Friday.
Dotcom also accused the DNC of withholding their servers from the FBI because “Seth Rich ain’t Russia!”
Additionally, the tech entrepreneur provided three email addresses that he claims belonged to Rich: Seth.c.rich@gmail.com, Panda4Progress@gmail.com, and Pandas4Bernie@gmail.com. He urged Google administrators to send the contents of the accounts over to WikiLeaks.
The email addresses lead concerned citizens to track down the Twitter accounts @Panda4Progress and @Pandas4Bernie which are now inactive. In a now deleted tweet, nearly a year after Rich’s death, Andrew Therriault, former DNC Director of Data Science, tagged @Panda4Progress implying that the user is an “embarrassment.”
Therriault tweeted about Rich multiple times this week, as well as retweeting news articles from liberal news outlets relating to the case.
The Pandas4Bernie account was last active on June 11, less than one month before Rich was murdered. The last tweet on the account was a manifesto about continuing to fight for Senator Bernie Sanders.
On Saturday, Dotcom promised to put out a statement on Tuesday after meeting with his legal team, adding that it “needs to be done properly.” He also asserted once again that Rich was in fact the source — and that he knew him.
The Russian Embassy in London also weighed in on the murder of Rich on Friday, tweeting that “#WikiLeaks informer Seth Rich murdered in US but MSM [mainstream media] was so busy accusing Russian hackers to take notice.”
Rich was murdered early morning hours of July 10, 2016, near his home while he was on the phone with his girlfriend. The police initially ruled that it was a botched robbery — but his wallet, watch, and necklace were still on his person when he was discovered by police. After his death, his girlfriend told a local news station that she believed that it sounded like he was murdered out of anger.
On Thursday, Dotcom provided a list of surveillance cameras that were near the Rich crime scene, which should have been able to offer at least a rough glance at the perpetrator.
Assange has previously hinted that Rich may be the leaker, while repeatedly reminding the public that they never comment on their sources. Eyebrows were also raised when WikiLeaks offered a $20,000 reward for information on his killer.
“Whistleblowers go to significant efforts to get us material and often significant risks. There was a 27-year old that works for the DNC who was shot in the back… murdered.. for unknown reasons as he was walking down the street in Washington,” Assange said during an interview with Dutch TV last year.
At this point the host interjected saying, “that was just a robbery, wasn’t it?”
“No there was no finding,” Assange responded.
When asked what he was suggesting, Assange said, “I am suggesting that our sources take risks and they become concerned to see things occurring like that.”
“But why make the suggestion?” the interviewer asks.
“Because we have to understand how high the stakes are in the United States and that our sources face serious risks… that’s why they come to us so we can protect their anonymity,” Assange asserted.
Early Tuesday morning, news broke that former DC homicide detective Rod Wheeler, who was privately investigating the murder, found evidence that the 27-year-old had been communicating with WikiLeaks.
In a bizarre and aggressive statement following Wheeler’s report, Brad Bauman, the spokesman for the Rich family, who just so happens to be a Democratic Party crisis PR consultant, claims that even if an email [to WikiLeaks] was found, it would not be evidence of foul play.
“Even if tomorrow, an email was found, it is not a high enough bar of evidence to prove any interactions as emails can be altered and we’ve seen that those interested in pushing conspiracies will stop at nothing to do so,” Bauman said in a statement.
Fox News also reported that a federal source confirmed to them that “an FBI forensic report of Rich’s computer — generated within 96 hours after Rich’s murder — showed he made contact with WikiLeaks through Gavin MacFadyen, a now-deceased American investigative reporter, documentary filmmaker, and director of WikiLeaks who was living in London at the time.”
The investigator specifically told Fox News that 44,053 emails and 17,761 attachments were sent from Rich to MacFayden before May 21. That happens to be the exact number included in the leak.
“My investigation up to this point shows there was some degree of email exchange between Seth Rich and WikiLeaks,” Wheeler said. “I do believe that the answers to who murdered Seth Rich sits on his computer on a shelf at the DC police or FBI headquarters.”
WikiLeaks retweeted and shared the Fox News report which asserted that Rich was their source. They did not provide additional comment.

Of course no one in Congress will lend legitimacy to the crowd sourced investigation of Rich's murder by going anywhere near KDotC. There are precious few outlets keeping this at the top of the fold, and those that do are mocked in the dead media.
I for one don't believe this goes anywhere near HRC or even DNC leadership. I think this was a peer to peer beef, certainly around that Rich had (I believe) leaked damming files about the DNC's candidate. The outcome may have suited the powers that be just fine, but the damage had already been done. No sense killing the guy. Unless of course he had more....... now, about that laptop......

That was fully a year before Rich's death. While it certainly raises alarm about intent, it had nothing to do with Rich at the time he made the comment. I do believe that he was murdered for betraying the DNC, and likely HRC, but I think it's important to keep things in perspective. Time lines do matter. Having said that, I hope Podesta chokes on a fucking pizza.

That article certainly does not say that Rich was speaking to either KDotCom or Wikileaks. It simply alludes that Wikileaks has information that Kim believes will be damaging to HRC. Likely it was at that point the Podesta emails, because his claim predates the earliest of the leaked DNC emails.
If the whole Russians thing is a distraction and diversion from the actual content of the emails, the Hillary enquiry, etc, the circumstances suggest that it was of absolute importance, for Hillary and the DNC, that a non-Russian leaker of the DNC emails never ever surface. ie motive for Rich's permanent silencing went right to the top of the democrat establishment, so ruling out HRC/DNC involvement is completely unwarranted at this stage. I don't think it can be ruled out, no more or less than any other theory. I do believe it's important to present what is known. If we engage in arbitrary dot connecting, we begin to resemble the MSN. Who have begun calling any assertion that Rich was murdered for political reasons "debunked". If a theory has been debunked, than there must necessarily be evidence that it is false, there isn't. They're arbitrarily connecting dots to develop a conclusion that suits them. I think it's important we do better work.
You don't think the evidence that the DNC rigged the primaries for Hillary and against Bernie are cause for concern? Tell that to Bernie supporters. They were mad. Hillary's supporters were worried and possibly took action so no one could talk to Seth to confirm details.
I going to make a prediction that congress will have no interest, the special investigator will have no interest, the FBI will have no interest and naturally the democrat media/press will have no interest.

It's so discouraging that the Left has so much power in this country to set the narrative, basically controlling the media, social media, Hollywood, schools, colleges, etc., and stifling any news/facts that don't fit their political agenda. It's frustrating to have to go to obscure sites on the Internet to get opposing views and opinions. I can't imagine what it would be like if we didn't have the Internet -- like living in North Korea I suppose. I have my doubts that even if this Seth Rich thing turns out to be true that it will make much of a difference. They'll just figure out a way to spin it or bury it.

Discouragement is their goal. Conservatism is on the ascent and this site is a bit obscure (for now) but sites like Breitbart,Drudge,The Daily Caller,even The Gateway Pundit are becoming more and more mainstream. I'm hoping the Trump team/DOJ is aware of this and this may just be a way to get the public involved to help apply more pressure to the investigations. I find it curious that all of this broke as soon as Comey got the boot and the DOJ seized all his files etc. I have NO doubt this goes straight to the top and that it can bring down dozens of people. Brock's trolls are working overtime trying to combat this. I would say he will withhold it as a bargaining tool for his extradition. If I were Trump I would strike a deal on this, it will destroy the Russia nonsense. This is going to sound SO insensitive and I don't mean it to be because it is a horrible tragedy. But, a story just broke that a White college student stabbed a black student to death on campus. The big kicker is that it is being investigated as a hate crime by the FBI because the suspect was a member of a FB page called the Alt-Reich Nation! It's tragic but it just sounds like it's packaged in a perfect package with a HUGE dog whistle attached. This could lead to riots by sunrise. I'm suspicious.

We're not sure what Kim Dotcom has, we know only that he states he has something. From his tweets we know 1) He claims to have either known or was acquainted with Seth personally; 2) He claims he knows Seth Rich was linked to Wikileaks; and 3) He claims he has evidence to show this link. For the moment, we can only take him at his word. Dotcom is quite credible in my view. He has fought his own battles in NZ and has turned out to be right, producing formal apologies from the NZ spy agency and the Prime minster. Unlike CNN, WaPo, and others -- who are simply dismissing all this as paranoid conspiracy theory and fake news -- I'm willing to give Dotcom the credibility he deserves. We will have to wait and see his statement tomorrow to see what may come next.
If you want to a reason why you should give Dotcom any credibility related to Seth Rich or Wikileaks at all, think about this: Dotcom, in a Bloomberg interview in May 2015 [https://bloom.bg/2qFxkB5] said that Assange will be Hillary's worst nightmare in 2016 because he [Dotcom] was aware of information that Assange had on her. This turned out absolutely true. This clearly shows that Doctom has some credible link to Wikileaks. So it's not much of a stretch to think that Doctom might have known about Seth Rich connection if there indeed was one.
I hope so. I really, really hope so. I hope he doesn't come out and say that his lawyers told him to clam up or this turns out to be nothing. The timing of Kim's comment suggests he was referring to the Podesta emails, not the DNC leaks. However it does suggest that Kim is close to the wikileaks process, and could later have been in a position to know Rich as the DNC leader.
I sense that the DC police are about to find Seth's "killers". Hopefully the FBI is watching to determine who is complicit in any attempted cover up, now that Comey is no longer "protecting" the country from criminals. "Lordy!, What would you do?!?"
If Seth Rich was leaking e-mails to WikiLeaks, there is no way the FBI would not know that, and if the FBI knows it, they will not cover it up. Since we haven't heard anything from the FBI, it is not likely that Seth leaked to WikiLeaks.
